Ch 3

*three weeks later*

Over the next three weeks Sungyoon and I get pretty close to each other he having taken care of me while I've been hurt and it's quickly become habit to wake up beside each other surrounded by the other's scent completely. Waking up I immediately feel calm and relaxed as I'm held in Sungyoon's strong arms my eyes opening and I unconsciously stare at the attractive alpha. I let out a quiet sigh knowing I've fallen hard for the alpha even though I know he's going to end up leaving to find his friends. He's just stayed because I've been hurt and unable to walk. Slowly maneuvering out of his arms I run a hand through my hair hearing my inner wolf whine in disapproval at the thought of him leaving. Taking a shaky breath I get to my feet able to walk without much pain now and put my shoes on making my way out of the room and outside feeling the air hit me it a bit chilly since it's very early in the morning. I silently watch the sunrise when I suddenly hear the door open I turning to see a sleepy Sungyoon he moving closer and rests his forehead on my shoulder my heart immediately beating out of my chest. "Why are you awake so early?" I unconsciously smile a little. "Sorry I couldn't sleep and was feeling a little restless. I didn't mean to wake you up." He hums before saying softly. "Of course I woke up your scent faded and I got cold." I blink a little my stomach getting butterflies but I clear my throat changing the subject. "My ankles basically better now. We should go on a supplies run." He lifts his head up staring at me for a moment before nodding. "Alright let's go get ready." I nod and we head back inside to get our jackets and weapons then head back outside hiding the door with debris then start heading down the street heading for some buildings that I haven't gotten to yet. We quickly get in, look around and gather things we need before getting out. We come across some zombies but manage to take them out with my katana and with Sungyoon using the machete I gave him. Once we're done getting more supplies we head back to our little room and I go to grab the debris when a few zombies start running at me I unable to get to my katana in time and am tackled to the ground by one of the zombies I immediately trying to fight it off making sure not to get bitten or scratched I crying out pitifully for help. "Sungyoon!!" After a few minutes of fighting with the zombie it's head suddenly gets cut off I grimacing as it rolls off to the side I letting out a shaky breath shoving the headless body off of me as I see Sungyoon standing over me with the machete he quickly helping me up and I whimper immediately pulling him into a tight hug shaking a little. He hugs me back before slowly pulling away and looks me over a worried expression on his face. "Are you okay? Did you get bitten or anything?" I give him a little reassuring look. "I'm okay I promise. It didn't get me." He looks relieved and leads me back over to the door of our room I seeing two other zombies dead nearby. We head inside quickly barricading the door and securing it before I lean back against the wall with a sigh closing my eyes for a second before I straighten up and pull off my weapons and jacket then look over at Sungyoon saying softly. "You know if you're ever going to find your friends you should probably start heading out." He pauses in the middle of unbuttoning his jacket before he looks up at me with a frown. "Are you telling me to go?" I immediately avoid his gaze before saying softly. "You'll have to leave eventually Sungyoon if you want to find your friends. You said it yourself multiple times that you're worried about them and you want to know if they're okay." It's quiet for a moment before my chin is gently but firmly grabbed and my head is turned so I'm looking at him a serious expression on his face. "I'm not leaving you here all alone." I immediately feel my heart flutter but I raise an eyebrow at him. "So what you're gonna give up on your friends and stay here with me? I won't let you abandon your family like that. I'm not as important as them." He immediately lets out a dangerous growl his eyes flashing red and I can practically feel the anger coming from him I holding back a flinch. "Don't say that. You're important too." I jerk my chin away from his grasp and say firmly. "I'm basically a stranger to you Sungyoon. You've known me for a few weeks you've known them for years. It's obvious who you should choose." He frowns at me seeming to get a little upset before he says in a firm serious voice. "What if I want you to come with me? That way I don't have to choose." I immediately frown. "Sungyoon what if they don't want to accept me into the group? If I follow you only to get denied or rejected by them it'll be all for nothing." He stares at me before begging. "Please Chason don't do this. Don't push me away and make me leave." I feel upset and my heart hurts but I hide it and say firmly. "Let's eat and get some rest so you'll have enough energy to start heading out tomorrow." He looks defeated my inner wolf crying as I grab some food from the bag and get us some soup heated up. I then hand him a bowl we silently sitting down and eat quietly there a big weight of intense tension between us. Once we're finished eating we lay down I laying on my back staring up at the ceiling when suddenly an arm wraps around my waist and I'm pulled against Sungyoon's firm chest I about to say something since we usually just cuddle in the morning from our sleep but he looks down at me saying softly. "Please. Just one last night." I bite my lip but am unable to tell him no so I give a little nod and lay my head on his shoulder as he cuddles me. We stay like that before I slowly fall asleep.
