Burn it (a Y/Choi Sungyoon x male reader story)

Ch 1

(Chason's Pov)

Waking up in my little room locked up and barricaded for safety I sigh and stretch running a hand through my dark red hair before grabbing my bag going through my little amount of supplies like food and water. Seeing that I'm getting a little low on food I sigh and get up straightening up my blankets before I grab my black leather jacket putting it on then grab my katana and the gun I use in dire situations. I then sheath my katana at my side and put the gun in a holster attached to my thigh before I start to head out I covering the door with some debris so it's not visible. I then head off down the street and go to search some buildings for food and supplies I managing to find a few things. After a while of searching it starts to get dark so I start to head back towards my little room when I suddenly smell something intoxicating nearby. Blinking my inner wolf immediately whines at the scent my omega instincts telling me to follow it. Swallowing I follow the direction of the scent the closer I getting the stronger it gets I recognizing it as a strong mountain scent. But as I start getting even closer I immediately start to smell and hear the sounds of zombies I pausing when I peek around a building to see a giant mass of zombies surrounding a bus and I see a figure holding a flare on top of the bus. Frowning I make a split second decision and make my way all the way behind the building then take my gun out of the holster I taking a deep breath before I shoot four times up into the air. I wait a minute before I hear the horde of zombies starting to approach I quickly making my way around the other side of the building and run as fast as I can to the bus after making sure the zombies basically all cleared. There's still a few stragglers left so I quickly use my katana to get rid of them before calling up to the guy on top of the bus I able to smell that intoxicating scent of mountain and alpha. "Hurry let's go before they make their way back." He quickly climbs down and I motion for him to follow me I rushing down the street and head towards my hidden sanctuary I quickly moving the debris and open the door before I motion him inside quickly shutting the door behind him and barricade the door securely. Once I'm sure it's secure and strong enough to hold I turn to the alpha who's leaning against the wall while I take off my katana and gun holster. "So you wanna tell me how the hell you ended up on top of a bus with a horde of zombies after you?" He frowns at me. "I was guiding my friends through the city and we got ambushed and separated." I slowly nod my nose twitching at his strong intoxicating scent my wolf screaming the word mate. "Well you're lucky I found you. Be glad I decided to look for food and supplies today and smelled you." He gives a little nod and straightens up bowing to me. "Thank you for saving me." My lips twitching up in amusement. "You're welcome. I'm Yikamura Chason what's your name?" He gives me a curious look and I know he's confused since I'm clearly American with my red hair and silver eyes. "I'm Choi Sungyoon. No offense but you don't..." I cut him off. "I don't look Japanese. I'm not I was adopted when I was four by a Japanese family in America and they moved me and my sister here." He nods in understanding his nose seeming to twitch a little and I clear my throat. "Um are you hungry? I can fix us something right quick." He looks at me curiously but I pull out some packs of ramen that are miraculously still good then head over to the little stove in the corner and grab my matches turning on the gas then light the stove burner and grab a pan I use pouring a bottle of water in the pot then place the ramen in the water. "Luckily the battery still works and that the stove is gas so I can actually have hot food." I use some chopsticks to check the noodles and add the seasoning before putting the noodles in two bowls I handing one over to Sungyoon with some chopsticks. "Here." I turn the stove off then motion for Sungyoon to take a seat as I sit down on the floor. We both sit down then start eating there a slight awkward silence between us my nose wrinkling occasionally at the intoxicating smell coming from him my own scent of flowers starting to come from me I immediately blushing in embarrassment when my scent spikes and eyes flash electric blue as I lean closer to grab his empty bowl I mumbling in pure embarrassment pulling away. "Sorry...." He swallows his eyes flashing red for a second. "It's okay. Um so do you have any friends or a group you belong to?" I grab our bowls and get up shaking my head no. "My parents died when I was sixteen and my sister died quite a while ago. So it's just me." I put the empty bowls safely aside in a bag then slowly turn to him saying softly. "You're probably tired. Go ahead and take the spot in the floor it's soft and comfortable." He raises an eyebrow at me. "And where will you sleep?" I shrug. "I can just take a blanket and sleep against the wall." He immediately frowns at that. "I don't want to take your bed." I give him a stubborn look. "And I don't want you to end up sore and stiff when you clearly had a rough day." We stare each other down for a moment before I back down with a sigh and offer softly. "What if we both take the spot in the floor? I can make it big enough for both of us." He seems to hesitate a little. "Are you sure you won't be uncomfortable sleeping with someone you don't know beside you?" I look him in the eyes saying simply. "My instincts are telling me to trust you and I always listen to my instincts. Plus you don't seem like the type of alpha to take advantage of someone." He gives me a tiny smile. "Well then I guess let's get the spot fixed up." I nod and lead him over to the spot of multiple blankets piled up on the ground to make a soft bed and I carefully fully spread out the blankets so it's big enough for two. Once we get the bed situated I shrug off the leather jacket I'm wearing setting it aside and slip off my shoes while Sungyoon slips off his jacket and shoes as well. I then carefully climb onto one side of the makeshift bed he climbing onto the other side leaving a large space between us. I feel my eyes start to droop I murmuring a soft "goodnight" as I slowly start to doze off. I vaguely hearing him wish me a goodnight back.
