Ch 9

Waking up with a start I take a deep shaky breath as I slowly and carefully maneuver myself out of Sungyoon's arms then tip toe past the others after grabbing that slip of paper out of my bag. I then make my way outside being careful with the door so I don't wake anyone up then step off to the side. The sun is just starting to rise I looking down at the paper in my hands and start reading over it curiously I seeing that there's a new drug to cure the virus but it's quite far away. Frowning slightly I read over it a few times before I fold the paper and put it away. I then watch the sunrise only to jump when I feel arms wrap around my waist only to relax when I smell Sungyoon I immediately relaxing into him. "Hey what are you doing up?" I'm quiet for a moment before I say softly. "I had a nightmare and needed some fresh air." He speaks up sounding a little concerned. "You wanna talk about it?" I shake my head no staring at the sunrise for a while before I slowly turn around in his arms so I'm facing him. I look up into his eyes before I lean up pecking his lips before pulling away a little shyly. He smiles and leans down kissing me softly I immediately melting and kiss him back happily. The kiss slowly deepens I submitting to him when we fight for dominance and eventually we pull away to breathe I looking a little dazed. "I love you." I snap out of my little daze and look at him wide eyed in shock. "W.... What?" He gives a little shy nervous smile. "I love you. And I'm glad to have you as my mate." I feel my cheeks heat up but I say a little shyly. "I love you too. And I'm glad to be your mate." He grins and scoops me up spinning me around making me giggle. "Sungyoon put me down!" He slowly sets me back on my feet smiling down at me and I gently smack his shoulder. "We should get back inside." He pouts a little but nods and we head back inside hand in hand the others awake and turn to look at us I giving a little shy smile before speaking up. "So I was reading over that paper and it seems that the cure for the virus is further in the city quite a ways away." All three of the alpha's look at each other before looking back at me. "Are you sure we want to risk it?" I shrug. "I don't know about you guys but I think we should at least try." They all look at each other again and nod before looking back at me. "Let's try and find the others before we make a full decision." I nod in understanding and shift a little as we make a plan for what we're going to do today we deciding to split up and look for some of the others. Sungyoon and I make our way out we agreeing to meet back up with the others in three hours. As we make our way through the streets we stick close together I feeling a little nervous and uneasy for some reason. Swallowing we suddenly hear gunshots nearby I immediately frowning and look at Sungyoon before we cautiously start following the sound of gunshots only to pause when we see a horde of zombies crowded in a hallway with two figures at the front one of them shooting as many zombies as possible while the other follows behind him. Immediately pulling out my gun I start shooting as many zombies as I can to help out while Sungyoon uses his machete to help. Once the crowd of zombies dies down with all of them dead I fix my gun and put it back in my thigh holster only to look up at the two younger guys I smelling alpha from them but I immediately frown when I observe the boy with red hair I seeing a bite on his leg I immediately taking a step back out of instinct. Sungyoon looks at me confused but I nod down at the guys leg and Sungyoon's eyes widen. I take a shaky breath but give the young alpha a little comforting smile. "Don't worry we found some information about a cure. Follow us and we're going to discuss going to get it." He looks uneasy frowning. "I don't want to end up hurting anyone if I end up changing." I understand his worry and I feel a little bad for him. "If it makes you feel better we can tie you somewhere safe. That way you won't hurt anyone accidentally." He seems to hesitate but nods then bows politely. "I'm Youngtaek by the way. And this is Joochan." I give them both a polite smile. "Nice to meet you I'm Chason. I'm Sungyoon's mate." They both look at us wide eyed and Joochan speaks up in disbelief. "Hyung how did you manage to find your mate?" He goes to say something but I speak up in amusement. "I actually managed to find him. He was trapped on a bus roof by a horde of zombies and I had to save him. Then we just ended up getting close and everything." The younger alpha's look between us before Youngtaek speaks up. "Well congratulations hyung we're happy for you." Sungyoon gives a little smile and I speak up changing the subject. "We should get going." They all nod and we all start to head back to the bunker Joochan supporting Youngtaek as we finally make it back we giving the little knock we came up with and the door opens revealing Jangjun who immediately lets us in. We all walk in I seeing that Daeyeol hyung and Jangjun hyung managed to find three more of the guys. Youngtaek looks uneasy so I gently help him over to a non functional pipe and use some extra rope I had to gently but securely tie him up I feeling the others eyes on me intensely. I then move away and I look at the others motioning to the bite on his leg. "It's just a precaution for everyone's safety. Now there's three people missing right? Because you guys said there were eleven of you in total?" They all nod and I look at Daeyeol. "I think we should go ahead and discuss this cure." He nods in agreement then gets everyone's attention and starts talking about the paperwork we got ahold of. "I think half of us should stay here and the other half should go to get the cure." Daeyeol and the others look at me and I shift a little but Daeyeol gives me a little nod. "That's a good idea. Let's just find the other three and we'll make teams." I nod then shift a little at so many scents of alpha at once I immediately rushing over to Sungyoon and burying my face against his shoulder cuddling into his side he looking down at me worriedly. "You okay?" I mumble a little softly. "Too many alpha scents. It's making me dizzy and nauseous." He cuddles me close against him I clinging on as he gently pets my hair and starts leading me outside to get some air since it isn't dark yet. Once we make it outside I take a breath of relief my head clearing and I shift a little feeling a bit nauseous still but ignore it. Sungyoon and I stay outside for a while before we eventually have to go back in so I head to our cots but not before I give Youngtaek an extra pillow and blanket so he'll be at least semi comfortable. I then head over to mine and Sungyoon's cots and lay down falling asleep almost immediately.
