Ch 8

It's mine and Sungyoon's turn to go out for a supplies and food run I quickly getting my katana and gun situated before skipping over to Sungyoon's side. We assure the guys we'll be back soon before we head out the door it being locked behind us. We walk through the streets I motioning to a few buildings that seem to be untouched. "You wanna separate? I take one building and you take the other? Then we'll meet up out front when we're done." He looks like he wants to protest but I give him a reassuring smile and a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be fine if I need you I'll yell." He doesn't look like he likes the idea but he reluctantly agrees and we part ways I taking the left building while Sungyoon takes the right one. Once I enter the building I look around cautiously as I make my way further into the building when I spot quite a bit of food and water I looking curious but immediately start filling up my bag. I'm so focused on stuffing my bag full that I don't sense a figure making their way over until I suddenly feel a knife against my throat I freezing in place. "Well look what we have here. A pretty little omega stealing my food and supplies." I swallow smelling the strong scent of alpha and say a little softly. "I'm sorry I didn't know it belonged to anyone." He growls and pulls the knife away just barely enough to turn me around so that I'm facing him and then I'm roughly pinned against the wall with the knife back at my throat. "You're a pretty omega I'm sure you can pay me back." My eyes widen and I immediately give him a deadly growl. "Don't you even think about touching me or I swear I'll rip your throat out." He raises an eyebrow at me in amusement. "You even so much as try and make a move without my permission and your pretty throat will be sliced." I let out a little whimper mentally screaming Sungyoon's name repeatedly as the alpha runs his free hand all over me he letting out a little hum when he tilts my head to the side. "Seems you're already claimed. That won't do." I immediately go pale and squirm a little whimpering when he buries his face in my neck. "Don't!" Just as he goes to bite down there's a firm anger filled voice. "Hey! Let him go!" The alpha on top of me pulls away a little and turns I relieved to see Sungyoon who looks very angry his eyes glowing red. "Let my mate go or I'll cut your head off." The older alpha holding me doesn't move instead he says smugly. "I'll make you a deal. You give me this pretty omega and I'll give you information about the new breakthrough cure for the virus." My eyes widen a little in shock and disbelief Sungyoon saying in a firm tone. "No. Now give me back my mate." The alpha raises an eyebrow at Sungyoon. "You really don't want to trade? I'm sure you have some friends who have been affected by the virus I bet they could really use any help they can get." Feeling my stomach twist I make a decision saying before Sungyoon can deny again. "How do we know you aren't just making this information up?" The alpha looks at me with a smirk before he pulls something out of his pocket it a piece of paper from the government there an official stamp at the bottom. Before I can fully read the paper he pulls it away from me before giving a smirk. "So what do you say? Do we have a deal?" I speak up before Sungyoon can deny again. "Deal. You hand over the paper and I'll stay with you." Sungyoon looks at me in disbelief I giving him an apologetic look. "If I can help stop this shitty disease then I'll do whatever it takes even if it means my suffering." The man hands over the paper to Sungyoon before turning back to me with a smirk. "Let's go now." He grabs my arm harshly and starts dragging me out of the building we turning a corner only to run into a horde of zombies I yelping as I'm shoved towards the zombies as the alpha tries to run but just ends up running into a bigger horde of zombies I grimacing at his screams and yells as he's eaten I quickly scrambling away as fast as I can while the zombies are distracted I yelling out desperately. "Sungyoon!!" He rushes out of the building looking relieved but I just grab his free hand and drag him back towards the sanctuary where I pound on the door and quickly tug him inside once it opens. Once we're safely inside I let him go and slump against the wall breathing heavily. I then see Sungyoon approach me an angry upset look on his face. "What the hell were you thinking Chason?! Were you seriously going to give yourself up for a stupid piece of paper?!" I give him a stern look. "It's not just some stupid piece of paper. It holds a cure to end all of this shit and I would willingly give myself up to the devil himself if it meant being able to stop all of this." He stares at me and the other two guys look at us in confusion. "What are you guys talking about?" I sigh before explaining. "Some alpha guy caught me getting some of his supplies and food and was going to rape me but Sungyoon came to help. Well it turns out the alpha was holding onto a piece of paper that had information about a cure for this virus. He wouldn't give it unless Sungyoon traded me for the paper. I gave myself over so the paper would be handed over to Sungyoon and then he started dragging me off but he ended up facing a horde of zombies so I was able to escape." They all three stare at me before Daeyeol speaks up. "Whoa that is a very complicated situation." I nod in agreement as I slowly turn my head back to Sungyoon and give him a tiny smile he sighing and just pulls me into his arms he nuzzling against my neck possessively as he holds me. "Next time let's make sure the whole thing is legit before we make decisions like that again." I give a little mumbled "okay" as I cuddle into him desperately. "Let's go get you some rest okay?" I nod and Sungyoon hands over the paperwork to Daeyeol before he pulls me over to our cots that are pushed beside each other. I'm then scooped up and placed on one before he lays down beside me cuddling me close as I cling onto him he murmuring softly. "sleep jagi." I grumble a little but slowly doze off clinging to him.
