Thetos was sitting in a large study sitting behind an exquisite oak desk. He had a top of the line computer, a small portrait of a woman, and a very angry cousin sitting in front of him.

"Davon was abused by that vile man. Lys's father was worse, all though she didn't seem to take the loss bad. I just know Revellen is losing his mind due to the connection they have. The Orca actually has her shit together, which is nice, but why the others? Why rescue these kids just to throw them in a death trap?" Elda ranted, her icy blue eyes positively frosty with rage.

"I hope we're not letting familial ties get in the way of things, Elda, where Davon is concerned." Thetos drawled. He had no interest in having this conversation with Elda. He didn't want to explain anything to his cousin. "Besides, they'll win. I have no doubts about that."

Elda scoffed. "You seem awfully sure about this." Thetos shrugged.

"And I am. Everything will work out just how it's supposed to."  Thetos looked at Elda. "So stop bothering me." Elda huffed as she stood up.

"You're going to regret this." She left, her dress swirling like snow drifts behind her.

Thetos pulled out a phone as soon as she left, dialing a few buttons. He called someone and a minute later, a male voice answered.

"Yes?"

Thetos merely smiled. "I have the team."
