DEAR ONANTU,
It has been a full eclipse since I sent my thoughts to you, and I find myself growing increasingly anxious with each passing day. Your silence has cast a shadow over my heart as I want to know how you, sa'nu, sempu, Azangrä, and Tsaro are doing.
You have always managed to write back in more of a timely matter even across such distances. Please write back as soon as you can, you skxawng. Do not keep me waiting any longer!
Here in the village, things have begin changing... I will not say anything because you haven't responded yet– and are undeserving of what I want to say, but do know something big has happened.
The ocean's warm embrace is both calming and soothing as I continue to navigate life here. I hope you read my last note about your question and regraded it carefully.
I am still keeping up with my studies with Tsahik, so tell sa'nu and Zo'ile that I will be in perfect condition to come back and take my position in the clan when the time is ready.
On another note, Ewya continues to speak to me, but it's not as it once was. The whispers and signs are different now, filled with a disquiet that unsettles my spirit. I can feel it.
The imbalance, a shift in the energy that flows through us and everything around us. This sensation is like the calm before the storm, a premonition of change– something on the horizon that I cannot yet define. I feel it in my core, an echo that reverberates through every fiber in my being.
Maybe I am being dramatic due to you not responding, but something truly feels off.
Anyways, it is getting late and I have to wake for an early start tomorrow. Please do take your time and respond with all the lateness in the world. You will feel my wraith when it bites you in the ass.

The gentle whisper of the water lapping against the seawall terrance mingled with the soft hum of the reef creatures as they began to stir. The homes of the metkayina people were bathed in a soft glow from the rising sun, its light refracting through the water in shimmering ribbons.
Inside the marui nearest to the Sullies, Sai'eyla folded her newly woven hammock with ease and care. The woven fibers between her fingers combined with the steady cadence of the morning brought a calm.
Her motions were unhurried and peaceful as she hummed a quiet tune that her mother used to sing to her every night before she fell asleep. It was a tune so familiar to her, one that reassured her that everything would be okay.
The scent of salt air and the faint mist of the ocean filled her senses. In the distance several calls of happy shrieks of the ilu's were heard, bringing a small smile to her lips. She took a deep breath, centering her mind for the tasks that lay ahead. She was going to be a busy girl today. Not like she wasn't everyday, but today was different.
