▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃✎ ᝰ GEN FELT AN INSANE RUSH of emotion after Hyoga left the now burnt Ishigami village. The home of the descendants, that was once brimming with life despite the issues of domestication, was now destroyed with no evidence of comfort. Some of the villager's attention were on their own people, checking to see if anyone had been hurt. Certain individuals' attention were on Senku and Gen's perturbed state.
Like aforementioned, Gen was experiencing the worst rush of emotions. He partially blamed Hyoga for this, and the other half he blamed you. "Senku doesn't seem so happy about this." Suika frowned. "Did Gen do something wrong, Kohaku?"
"No, no. I don't think so." Kohaku assured her. It was difficult to tell. Senku didn't seem like the type to get frustrated and yell at someone for something out of their control, that'd be absurd. Thinking back on their fight with Hyoga, she remembered those specific words Hyoga had chanted that momentarily stupefied Senku and Gen. As if their beloved had been kidnapped right before their eyes.
"Ah, you are aware we have revived F/n L/n. Right, Senku? She was severely heartbroken to see Gen slip away from us. But I assure you, Tsukasa and I will take very good care of her."
"Don't you think this is something you should have told me sooner, mentalist?" Senku sighed. Fright wasn't going to take him anywhere, but for Gen to have hidden this particular detail was extremely odd. Currently, they were inside the laboratory. Just him and Gen.
"I was going too eventually, I swear!" Gen put his hands up in defense.
"Uh, hello? Is this a private matter? Or can we come in?" Chrome spoke from the entrance. He was eager to be a part of this conversation. Kohaku, although less obvious about it, was also eager to know about this concern. To learn more about the enemy was a privilege to her.
"I suppose it is fair if we let them in on it. Don't you think so?" Gen tried to sound stable, clever even.
"Sure thing."
Chrome was the first to ask about the matter. His approach involved the practical viewpoint, meanwhile Kohaku was concerned on why Gen and Senku had looked so peculiarly astonished that this adversary was on Tsukasa's side in the first place. "Is this F/n girl dangerous? What is she to Tsukasa?"
"Like Hyoga's Tsukasa's right hand man, F/n is Tsukasa's left hand woman." Gen explained. "But..I really don't see how working for him benefits her. It's so stupid." He lowered his tone and gaze as he said that. Unbeknownst, to Kohaku and Chrome, honest and stainless worry glinted in his eyes. A rare sight for a magician, and it was because he is a magician that the shifting brood in his pupils amazed Senku.
"Hmph, I get it now. You're familiar with that Saintrosen Lion, aren't you?"Senku's inquiry earned a stiff movement from Gen.
"Saintrosen Lion?" Kohaku wondered.
