✎ ᝰ UKYO PUSHED AWAY THE relief in his heart when he saw the white cloth raised in the air by Chrome. After all, he wasn't a violent guy, and he would rather not have the impression of one. Now Chrome was proud of himself for erasing the danger that was Ukyo's bow and arrow. Meanwhile, Magma searched around for the boy. After his failed attempt to capture Ukyo, he had found himself puzzled in the hands of modernity.

"Ugh! Dammit, Chrome, where are you?!" The brute groaned, and turned around just in time to see a whistling Chrome tied up with Ukyo holding onto the end of the rope behind him. "Rahh! You stupid bastard!" Once Chrome and Ukyo were out of sight, Magma had no choice but to retreat.

Far off into the mountain and walking their way up on the created surfaces, Chrome stopped whistling. From the corner of his eye, he saw the small smile of satisfaction on Ukyo. Whether it was mocking him or triumphant, Chrome was stiff against the thick ropes. It was until Ukyo tugged on the end, and the both of them stopped walking, that Chrome became perplexed rather than nervous.

"Haha, you know what forget the rope." Ukyo untied Chrome. "I mean you did raise the white flag, after all. You were trying to save your friends with that maneuver, weren't you? The big brute and the one who took off. After all that smoke cleared up, I would have no choice but to shoot the meathead."

His smile told Chrome everything he needed now right now. Regarding Ukyo's character. He didn't look like the type to be out for blood. They resumed their way to the top after that. Walking side by side as if the fight had never happened.
"Pretty impressive decision making in the heat of the moment. You should consider it a win."

"Y-yeah? You don't say!" Chrome laughed, hand rubbing the back of his hair. He was quick to realize that Ukyo's words had what he assumed was an ulterior move, blanketed by a tone of normalcy, and maybe even a sprinkle of charm. Ukyo was yet again impressed by this thinking. Smiling once Chrome whistled nonchalantly again.

"Okay. We're here."

Finally, after ten more minutes of walking up the mountain, Chrome was led to a large den in the middle of the empire. He swallowed softly, looking from right to left. He was being observed by a few brutes in the cave, and they were unlike Ukyo's friendly exterior. Rather, the brutes had a hungry glow in their eyes.

"Huh?" Chrome's lips parted when he glanced at the middle of the cave where a stone throne was. Next to the throne, the man that was partially responsible for his village's fire stood there with his spear. Hyoga, however, couldn't waste his time remembering his name.
