✎ ᝰ FOOTPRINTS DISPLAYED ONTO THE dusty ground of the so-called grave. The empire of might has been less rowdy than usual, but Hyoga thought that it was no longer ideal to cause unnecessary ruckus for an ideal world of stone. Modernity was long gone and all they have to rely on were the leaderships of their kings and queen. They would take care of the most problems, and that included what lied in this very grave.

"These footsteps are way too neat." Hyoga observed. "It looks like the place was cleaned up, and then someone stamped in these footsteps to hide something. don't you think? F/n."

You were fixated on the grave and the footsteps. You were never seen here, nor reported any mischief from your people, and yet, Hyoga got the notice that this wasn't your first time here. "Duh." Your unserious attitude at times left an inadequate discernment of you in Hyoga's perspective. "Anybody could tell. It seems like several people have gathered here, too."

"Ugh. Why did you come here with me if you were only going to have an attitude?"

"Attitude..?!"

You and Hyoga cease to continue when Tsukasa arrived , holding a piece of stone. You made way for him. "I've heard that a few of our men had come to the grave. Were you here?" Hyoga questioned.

"No. I've come now to pay my respects to Yo." Tsukasa stopped before the grave. He raised the piece of stone to his chest delicately. It had come to your awareness that it was indeed the eyepiece that Yo had decided to stick with.

"Wh-what happened to him?" You pried with widened eyes. "I saw him just this morning."

"He fell into the waterfall trying to capture Chrome." Tsukasa rested his eyes momentarily. "It was an inevitable escape, but unfortunately, Yo could not bear it."

Hyoga relished in the way you slouched and comically slacked your jaw. It was unnatural to see this side of the princess. You found Yo's audacity to be so outlandish that the absurdity of his death was not at all amusing, and you found a lot of things amusing due to the world's reset. "I want him to return back to the earth." Tsukasa continued solemnly. "Gozan, Yuki, Ren, Akaashi, Kyoichiro, and Morito. He deserves to rest in piece with them."

"Gozan? Yuki?" Hyoga repeated. "Who are they?"  Tsukasa kneeled down to dig up the dirt with his free hand.

"Our fallen brothes. Those killed by poison gas in the village."
Hyoga's eyes opened just enough to keenly gaze upon Tsukasa digging up the dirt. "...Ah..." There was a shadow casting down his bangs that a regular eye could have missed, but when Hyoga looked towards you, that shadow had vanquished in the power of your own eminence. He couldn't have closed his eyes and played off the shallow being of his curse when you stared at him with such a displeased frown.
