Chapter 2: Displacement

         Opening his eyes, Kaidou Shun felt the dizziness and headache disappearing. However, several noises started registering in his ears.

A second passed, and his blurry vision cleared. His surroundings become clear and his heartbeat sped up. He can feel it on his chest along with the cold shiver that spread on his spine.

' Where I am? '

Kaidou Shun is afraid when he suddenly finds himself on a train along with various people. He remembered that he was on his way home from school. Walking his way from the school to his home alone since there is no Saiki or Aren to accompany him. Now, he was in a congested train along with various strangers.

Kaidou was now starting to regret not offering to walk home with Nendou or he shouldn't have avoided Chiyo's offer earlier to go to a cafe with her along with Aiura and Mera. He should have thickened his skin and dared to go with them. Unfortunately, since there is no Saiki, Nendou, or Aren to accompany him, he rejects her offer.

Kaidou would certainly combust on the spot if he accepted her offer. He would never know how to deal with the 3 of them. He was fine if it was Yumehara alone, but together with Aiura and Mera, he would be a mess.

He was already familiar with them. Kaidou shouldn't be afraid to speak and interact with them.

Looking around the train, Kaidou can feel his eyesight blurring.

" This must be the work of Dark Reunion... "

Kaidou muttered habitually. Blaming the Dark Reunion for most of the trouble and unfortunate things that happened to him since his 1st year of high school. The people who were beside him and standing on the train decided to distance themselves away from Kaidou. Not wanting to deal with a weirdo except for one person.

Approaching Kaidou, was a muscular man with a friendly and approachable face. He has black hair cut short in a sporty hairstyle. He was dressed in casual clothes.

Cautiously intruding Kaidou's space like one would do to a frightened animal, he introduced himself in a soft and soothing tone.

" Hello, I'm Lee Hyungsung. Is there something wrong?  "

At first, it didn't register on Kaidou. However, when he heard the man introduce his name, he discovered that Kaidou didn't speak his original language earlier. He wasn't speaking Japanese but Korean.

The man who approached him was speaking in Korean too. Kaidou can understand him clearly despite not studying the Korean Language.

He felt more fear and confusion.

However, he can't remain a coward. Even if no one needs saving right now. He needs to be brave and stop crying so he can pay back the kindness and concern of this stranger.

Taking a deep breath and convincing himself that he gained the ability to speak the Korean language to fight the Dark Reunion, Kaidou replied and struck a post covering half of his face while trying to appear cool and strong. He let out a hesitant grin on his face.

" I am the Jet Black Wings! The Dark Reunion has transported me on this train! "

He said those words with as much confidence as he could muster even though he currently felt that his legs were trembling.

He notices the absence of the red bandage on his hand and how the ground seems farther than usual. His voice sounded strange. Is it him or does it sound deeper? Is it the effect of speaking another language to your native language?

While doubts are resurfacing in Kaidou's mind, he notices the other passengers on the train shoot him a disdainful look. Some teenage girls huddled together and dressed in high school uniforms giggled.

" As expected of the Weirdo. "

" You shouldn't have expected different from that guy. "

" What a freak. "

Kaidou didn't let the confident expression on his face disappear. He endured the mocking words of those high school girls just like how he used to do back at PK Academy when the students outside of his circle of friends would mock him and make fun of him for being weird and strange.

Glancing at the kind man that reminded him of Hairo, the surprise reaction because of Kaidou's pose and words disappeared. Shooting the girls a reproachful gaze, he directed Kaidou a kind smile.

" Did you take the wrong train? "

Kaidou doesn't know how to answer that question. Glancing at his hand, his eyes widened and his heartbeat started picking its speed up again.

' My school uniform... It's wrong! My Gakuran shouldn't be green... It's Light Green! What's happening?! '

Looking around, Kaidou's gaze fell into the train window. Facing the train window, he found his gaze drifting to one of the reflections inside it.

Standing and looking back at him was a young man. 15cm taller than him. Back in 2nd year, Kaidou was 159cm tall and now in 3rd year, he has an additional 1cm in height. However, he was still the shortest boy in his class, and among 3rd year students.

The reflection looking back at him is 175cm tall. A young man with white hair that was different from Kaidou's natural light blue one. The white hair shows signs of fading, which means that it isn't the real color of the young man's hair. The white hair color is fake and dyed. The young man's hair white hair is shorter than the length of Kaidou's hair. It wasn't also a little spiky, unlike Kaidou's hair. Thankfully, like Kaidou, the young man has crimson eyes.

The young man's school uniform isn't a gakuran. He wears an unbuttoned green coat. Underneath is a white shirt and he was wearing gray pants and black shoes.

The young man's face is giving him a wild and unapproachable impression. Like a delinquent... Like Aren.

Like Kaidou's presently, the young man's expression is also one of surprise which quickly turns into confusion and fear like him.

Looking more intensely at his reflection, Kaidou's mind suddenly decided to provide him with a stray thought.

' He looks like he's cosplaying Kim Namwoon. '

Kaidou freezes from his position. A shiver once again runs into his— Kim Namwoon's body.

He read omniscient reader's viewpoint...

He suddenly found himself inside a train Cabin.

He wasn't in his own body.

This is Kim Namwoon.

While satisfied with his conclusion, Lee Hyungsung and the other passengers watched the eccentric young man with Chuunibyou disease lose his consciousness.
