'12:59 PM' Cassie looked down at her watch.
'1:00 AM" she stopped.
She looked up and saw she was outside her hotel. Cassie always did this; she would go out and run when she couldn't sleep. Every week a new scene to run along to, this week it was London UK; her father was on a business trip here and she always tagged along knowing full well she could do whatever she wanted. She was already numb to the fact that her father wouldn't give her the time of day, but a piece of plastic to keep her occupied.
She walked up the ten flights of stairs to her hotel room. Each step making her eyelids fall down heavier. She didn't know why she put herself through this. She could have easily taken the elevator, but knowing that there was nothing that would wait for her on the other side of the door allowed her to push herself to maximum exhaustion.
She walked, leaning against the wall, dragging her body, eyes closed. She felt the door knob and twisted it. 'Did I leave the door unlocked? Probably, who cares?' She thought to herself.
She lazily took her shirt and shorts off, not even bothering to take a shower. Her body sweaty and sticky; not like anybody was here to see her like this. No dad to tell her it was bad for his image, and his company.
She dragged her feet to the bed.
'Wasn't the bed on the right side of the hallway' she thought once again. She shrugged her shoulders and kept going.
She finally hit the bed and just threw herself on to the soft mattress; her face hitting the pillow like a twenty ton brick.
Sleepiness took over her body and there was nothing that could wake her up from her slumber.
As fast as sleep had come, the morning did as well, with the blaring of a buzzing sound from the side of the bed. Though this time there was something restricting her from hitting the alarm she didn't know she had. She opened her eyes to see a pair of arms locked around her waist.
"What in the fucking hell!!! Get off of me you damn bastard!!" Cassie yelled startling the guy making him fall off the bed as she scurried to find her clothes.
"Who are you and why are you half naked in my room?" the guy said really calmly, rubbing sleep out of his eyes.
"I should be asking you that! Don't open your eyes!" she screamed struggling to put on her shirt and shorts.
"I'm not looking," he said covering his eyes with his hand, yawing.
"Why are you in my room?" Cassie asked grabbing her cell phone ready to call the police.
"I don't know, but I am pretty sure you're in my room," he said walking out of the room and towards the coffee machine in the little kitchen.
Cassie shook her head. 'No she couldn't have gone into the wrong bed, and slept in some stranger's bed."
She quickly went to the outside of the room to see 'Room 301'' in bold letters. She then went inside looked at the guy saying, "This has been a misunderstanding, well goodbye now."
She then proceeded to run all the way down the stairs to the lobby. Her father spotted her and called her over.
"What do you think you're doing looking like that?" he said with no emotion in his voice, his eyes scanning the area to see if anyone was looking at them.
"I was on my way for a jog dad, I'm sorry I was in your way," Cassie said through gritted teeth, pushing past his shoulder and out the hotel doors.
Cassie walked to the Starbucks across the street. Walking in the shop, the smell of coffee hitting her, perfect thing to fix up her morning.
"How may I help you?" the cute boy behind the counter said with a quirky smile.
"Can I get a White Chocolate Mocha Grande, oh and a marshmallow dream bar, please," she said with a big smile thinking of the sweet rice Krispy treat. Nothing like coffee and sweets to cure her problems.
"I'll have the same thing, but a venti instead of grande," the guy from the hotel room asked, now standing next to Cassie. He was giving the guy a weird look that would say back off.
'What the hell does this guy think he's doing?' Cassie thought to herself.
"What will the names be?" the barista asked a bit intimidated.
"Honey, and Boo," he said casually. Cassie just stood back, arms crossed staring at the stranger with an 'oh really' look.
Once the barista guy went to get their drinks Cassie turned towards the stranger.
"Who do you think you are?" she asked.
"Your boo?" he asked with an innocent face.
"Oh and when did you become my boo? Because the last time I checked I was single as a pringle. I know I slept in your room, but that was an A-C-C-I-D-E-N-T!" she said loud enough for only him to hear.
"Well it might have been an accident, but it was faith," the stranger said causally.
"I don't even know your name for crying out loud! What do you want me to say to that?" Cassie said sounding a bit more frustrating.
"My name is Niall. Niall Horan," the now named stranger said with a smile.
"Well you know what I think Niall Horan?" Cassie asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What is it that you think?" Niall asked.
"That I am not a 'whore' that you can just convince to be with you and you should just 'run' away," Cassie said with a sarcastic smile. Just as she said that the barista called out honey and she walked out of Starbucks with a Grande White Chocolate Mocha leaving the stranger standing with his mouth open.
