Hospital visit

We finally reached the hospital and they told me to wait in the waiting area, I could not sit down. All I did was pace up and down and biting my nail hoping Casey will be okay. My mom said she was on her way and Ryan and Sarah will be here soon too. I'm just here all alone worried about Casey.

I heard a soft voice coming towards me "Abbie" I look over and saw it was Sarah and Ryan who finally arrived.

Ryan pulled me into his arms "it's going to be okay Abs" he whispered while not letting go of me.

We eventfully pulled apart and decided to sit down, "do you want me to get water for you Abbie?" Sarah asked me and I gave her nod.

Ryan looks over at me and gives me small smile "it's going to be okay, she will be okay. Is your mom coming?" he gently asked me and I hummed to myself.

"Yeah, she is" I mumbled out while trying hold my tears back also due to fact I been crying non stop and I have massive headache due to it.

"You can cry Abbie" Ryan reminded me and I eventfully let out my tears and he pulled me into his arms and tried to comfort me, Sarah finally comes back with the water

"Abbie, here your wate-" before she could finish off her sentence she realised I was crying and sat next to me while gently patting my back.

Time seemed to go by slowly at the hospital, my mom still has not arrived and the doctors still have not come out to say anything about Casey condition. I kept reminding myself of all the memories we had together and kept looking at photos of her. I let out a sigh to myself.

"Casey is strong" Sarah said to me while catching me looking at the photos and I looked over at her. "Abbie, she is strongest girl i've ever known" she reassured me and I gave out a soft smile.

My mom has finally arrived and came straight over to us and gave me a hug tightly "oh sweetie, it will be okay" my mom gentle voice spoke and I sniffled onto her chest.

"I'm scared mom" I whispered and she held me even tighter.

My mom hums to herself "I know sweetie, I know" my mom kept a hold of me until the doctor finally came over to us.

"Is anyone here an adult that I can talk too?" the doctor asked and my mom nodded and walked over to him, they started to speak to each other which made me even more anxious. I was scared she wasn't going to make it.

My mom walks back over at me and looks over to me "Casey is fine, the surgery went well. She is in bed recovering. You can go and see her" my mom said and I gave her smile.

I eventfully walk to Casey room and notice her body laying on the bed asleep, I gave her a kiss on the forehead before holding her hand.

"I was scared I was going to lose you" I whispered and kissed her hand. I stayed awake to wait for Casey to finally wake up.

I hear a groggy raspy voice finally speak "Abbie" I look over and see Casey is awake.

"You're awake!" I shouted in whisper and she let out a chuckle.

I pull her into my arms "I'm never letting you go" I whispered into her ear. "Please don't" she whispered back and put her head on my chest area.

We stayed cuddling for a while and I tried to help Casey while she was in pain. It was going to be a long night at the hospital.

My mom came in with some water for us and sat talking to us about what happened, Sarah and Ryan then came in the room.

"Don't scare me like that again" I heard Sarah say to Casey and Casey gave out a laugh, gosh I missed her laugh.

We started to talk to each other about how prom was good then suddenly wasn't, Ryan and Sarah decided to go home and would come back the next morning to check up on Casey.

My mom tapped my shoulder "do you want to go home or stay here" she whispered at me and I look over at her

"I want to stay with Casey" I whispered back and my mom nodded. She left me and Casey to ourselves and I had Casey all to myself.

"Woods" Casey spoke and I smiled

"Edward's" I spoke back and she smiled

"Come and kiss me" she boldly said and I placed my lips onto hers. They were still so soft and still felt so amazing.

I climbed onto bed with her and kept her into my arms while she was trying to rest more. I managed to stay awake to think about the day but before I know it I was fast asleep.

"Good morning" Casey whispered into her ear with her raspy voice and I woke up with smile

"You're still here" I said placing kiss on her lips

Casey and I remained in cuddling position "always will be here Woods" she said back while kissing my forehead.

Suddenly our morning was just us cuddling and spending time together, I tried to make sure Casey ate some food and Ryan and Sarah came over to see her. My mom visited after work and made sure I was taking care of myself as well. I just can't wait till we home and I can fully take care of Casey.
