Fuck, prom only thing I can think about.
Whole thing about prom coming up and me actually needing to attend prom since Casey wants me to go. I look around the room and realised bunch of these people will be at prom too. I wasn't usually the type to attend these sort of events but ever since I got with Casey I been having to attend.
"You seem stressed" Casey whispered which caught me off my daydream of thinking. "Just about prom" I whispered back in a hum and laying my head on her shoulder.
Casey gave me a kiss on the forehead and we sat in silence for few moments with us listening to some Taylor Swift on the phone.
"Hey guys" Ryan sits down next to us and puts his lunch tray back down.
Me and Casey paused the music that we were listening to and both being in sync "hey"
Ryan starts to take a bite out of his food before I started to speak. "We need find you a prom date" I murmured said to him and he looked back up at me then smiled.
"I'm okay" Ryan quickly responded and Casey looked back at him and gave him a gentle smile "you need a prom date Ryan."
Ryan took a few seconds before letting out a small sigh and starts to hum at us before speaking "fine" he responded.
"How about him?" I looked over at a guy who was standing tall and seemed to match Ryan type for men. Blonde hair, brown eyes and taller than him slightly.
Casey let out a chuckle "he's not gay" I looked over at Casey and hit her slightly on the arm
"You never know" I softly spoke while being in joking mood
"I do know, he used to hookup with half the cheerleaders. He also used to have a thing for Sarah" Casey quickly spoke before poking me on the arm.
I scanned the room to see if I noticed anyone that would match Ryan type and his personality, I let out a smile while I caught someone eye.
"Her" I whispered and Casey looked over at my direction "she cheated on my best friend Jacob" Casey spoke while laughing.
I let out a soft sigh and placed my hands on my head trying to think who would suit Ryan.
Casey gave a small smirk before she started to speak again. "how about Sarah?" she sarcastically said.
Ryan gave her a cold look before shaking his head "I hate her" he muttered out.
"Enemies to lovers" Casey and I spoke in sync again and Ryan raised his brow at us
Ryan tried to refuse but couldn't get the words out to refuse. "She not that bad" I whispered at him while trying comfort him.
Even though me and Sarah had a few arguments she has apologized to me and Casey and we been getting along well with her. She basically said she did not want to see Casey hurt again. She actually really nice once you get to know her.
Ryan hummed "does she have a prom date?"
"No, she doesn't" Casey gave a smile which showed her dimples
I could tell that Ryan was thinking about asking her, even though they never really got along well they always had some weird chemistry together. She also fits his description for his type, brown hair, blue eyes, dresses nice and keeps fit.
Ryan looks over at us and gave us a nod "sure" he sighed in a hum.
"YES" I screamed out while being excited about Ryan getting a prom date hopefully
"I'll try and speak to her" Casey added and I gave them a hug before going to my class
Classes were pretty boring and I was too busy focused on Ryan and Sarah situation to even pay attention in class. Casey asked me to come with her to ask Sarah about Ryan and I agreed. It was the end of school and we went to a nice cafe to speak to Sarah.
Sarah looks at both of us and gave us smile "you two are actually cute" she takes a sip of her coffee.
"What you think about Ryan" Casey boldly said while I looked over at her being shocked at the boldness
Sarah stayed in silent for few seconds then murmur out "he's alright"
"Just alright?" I asked being curious
"He can be annoying but he can also be funny at times" Sarah added on and takes another sip of her coffee.
Me and Casey look over at each other before Casey started to speak again "would you say he prom date worthy?" Casey murmured out and I held onto her hand
"Possibly" Sarah quickly added before looking down at the table.
I look over at Casey then at Sarah and realised this could possibly happen. Me and Casey stayed talking to Sarah for few moments before getting up to head back home.
"Text Ryan" Casey quickly spoke while wrapping her arms around me
I grabbed my phone out my pocket and started to text him
Abbie: She wants you to ask her
Ryan: Shit, what do I do?
Abbie: Text her and take her on date, me and Casey will tell you her favorite place then ask her
Ryan: Nerve wrecking
I put my phone back in my pocket and laughed at how Ryan was nervous about it. "They would be perfect" Casey said while kissing my lips.
"Not as perfect as us" I quickly let out a hum and kissed her back on the lips.
Casey looks over at me "Woods" she spoke
"Edwards" I mocked her tone back
Casey pulls me closer to her and wraps her arms around my waist "we are matchmakers" she laughed at her comment.
"We are so" I added while wrapping my arms around her neck
"No one can beat us on best couple of year" Casey proudly said which caused me to get butterflies in my stomach.
We gave each other a passionate kiss.
