'I didn't wish to disturb you from admiring your mates but as it turns around, the moon's bound to break free from the bounds of the clouds and present itself in over half an hour according to the priest, which means you need to eat and head back down to wait.'-Yeonjun spoke from beside him, leaving Felix to flinch and stare at the male with big eyes,

'I think the nervousness is setting in finally because suddenly my hunger died.'

'Aww Lixie, calm down. Here, your mates sent them specially for you, saying it was prepared and set aside for checking taking the security measures into account.'

Felix grinned at the fact,

'Seeing you guys oh so obnoxiously in love, I'm reminded of my brother and his mate, they were oh so similar to you and your mates.'-Yeonjun murmured, helping Felix with the sleeves of his dress shirt as he ate up quickly.

Felix flushed at that, murmuring out, 'We're not that clingy-'

'Oh don't even talk about it. Those alphas of yours-don't tell them I spoke against them like that- but they're giving you those puppy-in-love looks all the time and today-they haven't even seen this pretty face and yet aren't any less than mere puppies.'

Felix giggled, watching Yeonjun make faces.

'You and Soobin aren't any less though, he's practically all pouty when he sees you getting close to me.'-Felix added, taking a sip of the grape wine before turning over to glance at the people below.

They sat silently for a while, the younger eating and offering Yeonjun in between who had to comply knowing just how compelling Felix could be.

'Hyung...?'

'Mhmm?'

'How did you feel before you and Soobin mated each other?'

'Well...I was nervous, surely. There wasn't uncertainty as most people feel before mating cause I knew Soobin was all I could ever want or need, but then there was this nervousness of what would happen afterward, how life would go on-

I thought it was something really big you know? It's like a rule of some sort. But then I stared at the mating mark and realized, nothing changed.

Yes, Soobin claimed me and I was his so was he mine, and yet nothing apart of that changed. We loved each other, we still shared the same banter, the same looks, and the same life- it was a big deal, to have a mark, but after that, it was just the same life except now I had someone to live for, besides myself, someone to love besides my family. A new family, with Soobin.'

Felix stared at Yeonjun with a smile, finding the male addressing his bond quite intimate and at the same time understanding things and meanings behind it,

People usually said marriage or mating as they termed it, was a pretty big deal and it indeed was, but not in the way the 'society' portrayed it to be. It was merely a bonding of two souls, official or unofficial, private or for the world to see, it was a bond between you and and your mate, and that was it.
