'So should we cancel the ceremony for today?'

'I think it'll be for the best, that way Felix can heal properly and relax and we still need to know who it was-'

'What to say to the townspeople though? A simple statement?'

'I'll address the crowd and let them know there has been an attack on our mate, leave a warning to let them know that once found, the person will be executed without trial.'

Felix blinked his eyes open, his mate's voice reaching his ears,

He felt as if someone had stuffed cotton in his mouth, in his head,

There was this dizzy feeling and yet he heard them speak, the words suddenly pushing away the cloud in his head,

'C-Channie?'-he called out, feeling a hand reach out to rub at his scalp,

Felix leaned into the warmth, rubbing his cheek against-

He looked up, finding Minho smiling down at him,

'Morning, kitten.'

Felix suddenly realized he had been straddling the alpha's lap, which made him sigh as he stuffed his face back into Minho's neck; he could care less of any sort of embarrassment.

'So, when are you getting the announcements out?'

'What announcements?'-the omega asked, yawning as he backed off slightly and looked at the others,

He felt himself leave Minho's lap once he found Chan sitting at the edge of the bed,

Crawling to the alpha, Felix couldn't help but sniff his scent,

Whiskeys. When did it get so strong?

His eyes widened as he backed off, holding onto Chan's wrists and checking them over again and again-

'Hyung-'

'Relax, Lixie. How do you feel now?'

Hurrying to get off the bed and rushing to the mirror, Felix pulled at his shirt, finding it different from the one he wore the previous night but it didn't matter for right there was a stab wound, having healed enough through the night, Felix carressed over the stitches he had been given. It was a neat work, done in haste.  The veins on his abdomen were red and prominent as ever.

'It wasn't a nightmare?'-he turned horrified, looking at their faces.

While he couldn't understand their gaze, his head went back to the words he heard while waking up.

'No-no no no. You're not canceling anything. Nothing.'

In addition to their words, he suddenly remembered everything, gripping his hair as memory flashes of last night went through his head like a broken tape recorder and Felix gritted his teeth,
