"Minho started showing," Jisung smiled, ear to ear.
Hyunjin squealed, "Oh my god, really?! Can I see Minho?"
Minho shuffled closer to Jisung, uncomfortable, "Um, no?"
Hyunjin frowned but lay back on the couch, listening to the other's wishes. Jeongin whispered in the leopard hybrids ear, comforting the other.
"How far along are you again, Minho?" Chan asked.
"three months," Minho smiled, "We have our first official doctor's appointment on Friday, right before our group session."
"You're going to show us photos, right?" Hyunjin asked, "I wanna see them so bad."
Jisung nodded, "Of course! How are you and Jeongin? Have you gotten any news back?"
The leopard hybrids had been trying for over a month with no luck. Jeongin's scent soured, "Nothing yet. We've started going to the fertility clinic, though. They put us both on medication that will hopefully help."
"That's wonderful!" Minho smiled, arm wrapped around Jisung's bicep, "I'm sure you both will be expecting in no time now."
Seungmin covered his mouth as he finished his lunch, "Do you guys have plans for after Paradise?"
Jeongin nodded, "I plan to return to school full-time for a year. Hopefully, I can get an internship or position by my Junior year."
"Hyunjin?" Seungmin asked.
"I just want to stay at home for now. That may change once our kids go to school, though," Hyunjin explained.
Seungmin nodded before turning his attention to Jisung and Minho, "And do you guys know what you're doing yet? You'll be out of here before Hyunjin and Jeongin."
"Yeah, actually. I've been talking to Changbin during our group nights and found out he owns a small studio in the city. He offered me a spot as a producer, and after talking to Minho about it, I accepted it," Jisung smiled.
"You guys have to hear some of his work! It's amazing. Both Changbin and Jisung, of course. But especially my Jisungie!" Minho said, ecstatic.
"You know, Jisung. We could do a live music night in the courtyard. I'm sure that would be a great idea. Get your name out there and bring more life to this place. I know some folks here haven't listened to music since they've arrived," Chan said, proud of himself for the idea.
"I'd love that, honestly. If you could find me a guitar, I'm down for it," Jisung said. Chan gave him a thumbs-up in return.
"I agreed to help Yongbok out at their family bakery. I think having the kits around other cross-breeds all day would be good for them. The only issue is I can't bake, but Yongbok said he would teach me, and I'm on coffee and tea duty until then," Minho explained after Jisung finished talking about his new position.
Hyunjin gasped, "Oh, that's amazing, Minho!"
As the group planned their futures outside of Paradise, they were anxious for the future. Sitting on the edge of their seats, just waiting, and waiting, for the day they would all meet up in the civilian world; meeting up at a real cafe with music filled with couples, students, and workers.
After their ultrasound on Friday, Minho and Jisung asked for an extra copy of their ultrasound photos, just as promised. They made sure to give it to their two ecstatic best friends over dinner. Only three weeks later, the group erupts into cheers when the amur leopard pairing announces they're expecting a child. Minho and Hyunjin cried after the accountment, excited to experience this new chapter of motherhood together. It wasn't long after the other pair's announcement when Minho began isolating himself in his and Jisung's family nest under their bed. Minho was almost four months into his pregnancy when he found himself itching to allow his instincts to take full control over his body quite frequently. That is how Jisung found himself calling medical on their room phone. Now, there was a midwife in their room talking to Jisung.
