chapter one

      Edward pov

I took off running towards the employees section and came to a dead stop when I saw Jasper standing there.

I slowly walked up and sure enough Rose was holding Bella to her.

"Rose you need to step away and you and Jasper please need to get away from this section please just do this for my wife." I watched as they walked away.

Bella stopped screaming and crawled up sideways into the wall and buried her head crying.

"Put both shields up I'm begging you please!" She kept repeating this with her mind.

I scooped her up into my arms and put both shields up around us and she collapsed in my arms and finally just fell into a deep restful sleep.

I took us back to our room and laid her down and spread the shield around our room and got her undressed and locked the door and turned everything on.

I got undressed and laid down and scooped her back up and laid her on top of me and just held her there running my hand through her hair.

I have to make the shield strong enough for her to block out everything.

We were a day away from base. I was going to have everyone go to the house and put Alice into the cell on base and just give Bella and I a break for a whole day and then the next day in the afternoon bring everything back that was delivered to give her a break.

She needed it so bad right now. This was only a temporary solution.

At the base at least we would have breaks and I could work on a shielding for our bedroom and office and any where else of Bella's choosing to have it for her sanity now and mine.

I must of fell asleep because I was being woken up.

I looked down and it was Bella. "You dropped the shields." I started laughing

"Sorry baby, I fell asleep." I told her. She buried her face into my chest.

She didn't want to move and I looked at the clock and it's only been a couple of hours.

"Can you go back to sleep if I go make dinner?" I asked her.

"As long as you promise to put back up the shields." I kissed her forehead.

"I promise." I picked her up and gently laid her on the bed and got dressed and as soon as I walked out I put the shields back up around the bedroom.

I was in the kitchen making dinner for dinner for Bella and I and was focusing on Bella and our that I had the shit scared out of me when I felt Emmett slap my shoulder.

"That's the first." He said laughing. "Have your fun for now! God you scared the fuck out of me" I said grabbing my chest and I had to duck because something went flying pat my head.

I looked at the wall and see a hole in the wall. "YOU FUCKING PROMISE!" I turned and looked at the doorway stood a very pissed off wife at me!

I stood up really fast and slapped Emmett in the back of the head.

"Ow! What hell was that for?" He asked me. "Because idiot! You made me break my promise to my wife when you scared the fuck out of me." Just then Emmett went flying against the wall and I hurried and tapped back into Bella's powers and abilities.

I fell back against the counter. Fuck! To much at one time, so need a stress ball.

I get slammed into and I instantly wrap my arms around my wife and pull her close to me and put my face against her neck.
