Our Love ( y/n x Johnnie)

A challenge

After about all night in the car doing random things, we arrived at a house. It looked pretty nice but not very big. Before I got the chance to ask Sam he told us he had an announcement. "Ok guys so..we are NOT doing hell week! We literally did that last week I don't know how you fell for that. But what we are going be doing is taking care of a kid for a week!" My jaw dropped. I didn't mind kids but they are a lot to handle and for a whole week? I'd rather have a ghost up my ass! "Where did you get a kid for all of us?" I asked he looked like he had something else to say. "Wellll...the way we did this was we contacted the orphanage to see how they would do with us for a week and they said the toddlers would love to be in a caring home even for a week soooo I thought we could do pairs? You Johnnie, me Colby, Tara Jake?" He asked. Me Johnnie. One room. And a kid. (OML IT BEGINSS! *cough* anyways) we all stay silent but know we have no choice but to be ok with that. "Ok, tonight settle into your rooms but then I'm gonna give you a sheet with your kids name age and stuff they like then we have to get stuff for the rooms. Pick whatever room you want." Sam adds on. We all go towards the house wondering how this is gonna go down. Me and Johnnie pick the 2nd floor room to the right of the hallway, it had a king sized bed, a toddler bed that still has the bars up so they don't escape. And then a bathroom attached. The rest is for us to get on our own I guess. There was a walk in closet so we put our clothes away. Then unpacked out bathroom items. Then I made a list of basic items we will need
1. Toddler bedding
2. Toddler and adult snacks
3. A high chair
4. Toddler shower stuff.
5. Toys
6. Outfits
7. Led lights (we want a fun room!)
And finally, toddler toothbrushes books hair brush, toilet seat, baby thing so they don't run out the room, pacifier and me and Johnnie's outfits ofc.
"That's a lot." Johnnie said looking at the list.
"Ik" I said "but we will be the best parents!" I said confidently (no we probably won't)
We headed down to see everyone ready and we got to the store. Sam gave me and Johnnie a paper. We got a boy, he likes dinosaurs, princess, nail polish, mc Donald's chicken nuggets, Cheetos, and the color blue. He's 2.
"This is gonna beee" Johnnie started
"Ok." I finished. He sounded like a sweet boy. And I loved the name Oliver. We got into the store and looked towards the baby section, we had his size on the paper and found a 3 pack of onsies in blue one for a mom one for a dad and one for the baby. We ended up getting it. We found princes nail polish in there, some cute kids pants, Johnnie picked out a stuffed bunny for him. We got some cute shirts and some kid overalls. We went to the pacifiers and found a pack of pacifiers bibs and bottles all in dinosaurs. Perfect? Then we went to blankets and got him a glow in the dark dinosaur bed throw and a princess soft blanket. A white high chair, a lot of diapers. Socks for him, leds. His Cheetos, a car seat and bath bombs and bath toys. We got a rattle and some loud toys and dinosaurs. After we were done it came out to ALOT of money but we won't worry about that. We got home with an Uber cause we knew the car would be full with everyone else's stuff. I started to set up the room with a basket of the toys, I put his clothes in the closet with ours, put on his sheets and blankets and put up the leds, Johnnie put out the high chair at the kitchen table with his name on it and his bibs on it, put the baby gate up and all the rest where it needed to go. We were pros what could we say. You and Johnnie quickly realized one issue. One bed. "Uhm, I can sleep on the couch? It's really not a-" he went on but I interrupted "no! It's ok Johnnie it's a king sized bed and if you're comfortable with it then so am I." He smiled and we both did our nightly routine taking turns in the bathroom. We went to bed finally Johnnie taking the side closest to the door and me taking the side closest to the kids bed. As usual I started drifting off overwhelming my mind of what tomorrow will bring me. I felt my weight shift and a very soft pillow, must of rolled over a bit.
