A little word from the author

Hey this is Axe. I wasn't too sure how to put this.. The story is a bit old so you can kind of see how typical it is and it may appear a little cliche. But.. this book is my pride and joy when it comes to writing. I wrote this story originally when I was 17. I'm 21 now and only now revising the story while finding the confidence to publish it in any way at all. I wanted to tell a story about revenge but also the dangers of what it means to pursue revenge so recklessly. At the time, when I was young, I had been going through a few pretty bad things so when I wrote this, I kind of projected a lot of myself into it. Adonis is a character who has been through a lot of torment all out of pain and a lot of anger. Through that anger, he has forced a strong man but not a man who's nearly strong enough to take on the world. What I wanted to do in this first Act here, cuz there's more, is to portray a man who has such power at his disposal but can't use it right simply because of his mindset, not his ability. I also wanted to introduce the idea of Lost Love because I think a lot of readers can relate to that. I wanted a lot of important themes to kind of go into the story, which is why there isn't a lot of action but I hope that the character development makes up for that. Again, I apologize if my writing is not up to your standards. I 100% understand and it's totally okay with me, I just want to share my story with other people. So please give me everything you got; critique, praise, hate, whichever works. If you don't like it then I apologize. The second act is going to be way better. t
