The Sandaime watched his village come to life with the rising sun, giving him a warm background as he sought to contemplate his own actions.

Unconsciously his eyes had landed on the Hokage mountain,a silent plea being made with the final head on the face.

'Oh Minato, how I've failed your son...' Hiruzen had been more concerned than angered that the blonde boy had managed to outsmart him and obtain the Scroll of Seals.More than that,he was angry at himself for allowing the chain of events that lead to the boys desperation.

Of course had it been anyone else, their head would've rolled about twenty four hours ago,the Third was confident of that...But Naruto Uzumaki was the kid the village just couldn't do without.

For all the wrong reasons. Though the Sandaime believed that today could be the day that would change.

The boy was a living reminder of the power of the Kyuubi to most, and now that he'd been disillusioned of his burden,Sarutobi would see to it that he understood just what his status meant for him.

He clasped his hands together, resting them behind his back as his pipe cracked alight with a simple fire jutsu. 'That Saryn girl' he smiled at his most recent memory of the village newcomer.

He'd watched as the introverted girl slowly warmed up to the boy over the years, and just a night ago managed to save them from the Kyuubi's chakra that threatened to leak from Naruto.

Yes,he'd seen those scarlet eyes.Just like everyone else in the clearing that night. But he'd also seen the entire ordeal before hand as well.

Yes,the man dubbed the 'Professor' had also seen the girl take a peek of her own at the scroll, even gone so far as scribbling a few jutsu before the untimely arrival of Mitsuki.

Had it been anyone else? Again, he would've killed them.Truth be told the man didn't know if he was too lenient or too unbothered.

Besides,he was more than happy to know she was capable of critical thinking, something half the village was obviously unable to do when it'd came to the blonde.
Together with the use of her own bloodline, they'd effectively taken down the stronger attacker as well. This had also helped him conclude something about one of his newest young leaves.

Saryn Kaguya was a lot more than she allowed others to see.A whole lot.

And if he used the Jonin that waited to enter as a benchmark, when news spread the Sandaime could bet that there would be a lot of others that want to see just who she is.

Naruto was struggling.

Not for any particular reason, but the weight of the tools and groceries in the bags Saryn made him carry was beginning to make his legs buckle under the weight.

And the girl? Damned woman told him to "be a man,or use a clone if you can't carry two bags." He would've thrown the groceries down and demanded to settle this, but he knew exactly who to be an idiot around.

Speaking of such a thing,Naruto wondered how she seemed to disregard the obvious gazes and whispers sent their way, though their eyes lingered on the cloud-colored mane and red markings of his friend.

Humming as they walked along, the Kaguya refused to acknowledge the occasional glance from passing ninja, some of whom would give him a small nod of acknowledgment and maybe a smile before continuing on their business.

Others-many of them civilian-glared at her but it was indirectly so, likely due to their innate dislike of the sunshine blonde that stalked beside her.
