Smoke rises from the busted hood of the blue four-door truck as five teenagers spill out of it. Groaning escapes from all five of their mouths as they examine the damage done by the boy on an adrenaline kick from his epinephrine shot. Kie walks around the front of the truck to see that it's smashed into a tree.

"No. No, no, no. No!" Kie cries as she looks around her. "My dad's truck! He's going to kill me for sure now."

"I hate to tell you this, Kie, but your truck is totaled." JJ also examines it.

"Yo, Pope! Where are you going?" John B yells out to the boy that's walking away from the crash.

"I'm going to get my cross!" Pope yells back and John B starts jogging towards him as a U-Haul truck approaches them from down the road.

The five teenagers watch as it slows down as it drives by them, revealing Rafe driving and Renfield in the passenger seat.

"Harli." JJ's expression turns solemn as he looks at his best friends and they all break out into a run back to the church- only to find it completely empty.

It's obvious that the cross is missing, but JJ and John B's main concern is finding Harli. The five teenagers call out her name and search the church over, but there's no sign of her. Frustrated, JJ rips his cap off of his head and throws it harshly on the ground.

"We have to find her. We have to go. Now." JJ tells the others. Agreeing, they quickly make their way towards the Twinkie and pile in.

Not making it too far down the road, the Twinkie comes to a complete stop as blue lights illuminate the road. Sheriff Shoupe pulls the van of teenagers over, telling them that he's already ran the tags on the truck and knows who it belongs to. He also tells Kie that her parents called it in as stolen a few hours ago. Pope tries to take the blame for crashing the vehicle, but Shoupe refuses to listen to the boy and tells Kie that he's taking her home or everyone will get arrested. Getting out of the Twinkie, Kie sends one last look to her friends before allowing Shoupe to take her to his vehicle.

Reluctant to leave Kie behind the teens trek on towards the Cameron's residence, knowing that they have to find Harli before something happens to her. As the teenagers peer over the stone wall they see Rafe getting out of the truck and going inside.

"Do you think he's got the cross in there?" Pope questions the others.

"I'm more interested to know if he has Harli in there." John B speaks up.

"Only one way to find out." Sarah chimes in as she starts walking away from the three boys and towards the front gate of her home.

"What?!" A chorus of voices sound, causing her to slightly turn around to face them.

"No way! You're not going in there." John B tells her.

"It's way too dangerous. What if Rafe comes back out and catches you?"

"I'm just going to the truck. If the keys are in it I'll steal it. It'll be fine." Sarah starts walking away again.

"Wait!" John B yells and Sarah stops in her tracks. "I just have some questions." John B makes his way towards her.

"About?"

"About us."

"Seriously? You wanna talk about us right now?"

"Yes. I'm... I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry. And I know I should've said it sooner." John B reaches into his pocket and takes the necklace he made her using his bandana out as he hands it to her. "I want you to have this back. Will you take it?"
