Not proof read, excuse any grammar mistakes. Pretty short felt bad I wasn't posting.

The others were at the choosing ceremony leaving me alone in my thoughts. I sat on the grass watching the other campers train. It didn't amuse me at the moment. I didn't like trying something new alone. 

I wanted to be with someone I trusted, like Luke. To guide me and not laugh at me in a bad way. I noticed some kids missing. It was probably for the choosing ceremony for Percy's quest.

I wondered how his quest would go and would only hope for the best. I was secretly hoping he wouldn't choose Luke. Mostly cause I wanted to spend time with him. 

Maybe even do something mischievous like getting a wine bottle and filling it up with grape juice to prank Mr D. I would write 'Your curse has been lifted for being on good behavior! -Zeus.'

Or maybe not. Zeus most likely doesn't like me already. Imagine if I did that.

Could never.

Okay, I'm lying. Maybe in the future for sure.

I wish Calista was here so I could talk to her about it but I'm sure she would jump to conclusions and say I had a crush. 

Crush. They were stupid. At least that's what I thought now. 

I was getting memories back from when I was in middle school. I liked a guy. I thought he was cool and liked me back. 

He would smile at me and we would drop off notes for each other at each other's lockers. 

Only then I found out he had been showing them to all his friends and making fun of them. I had put my heart into those letters thinking he would be the Eros to my Psyche. 

I was wrong. So wrong. 

I was just in love. Young love. I found out in the worst way possible. He had printed them and put them all over the school. I was embarrassed. 

Why would he do that? Was he really that bitchy? 

I begged my dad to switch me out. And he did. I left that life behind and I finished my studies at a better school. At least I was getting a better education than him for sure. 

I took out a piece of paper and a pen. Luckily, I had brought my bag out with me. I wanted to write a letter to my dad again. 

I couldn't help but wonder how he was. How he was doing without me there. Was he eating well? Was he at work? I hadn't given him a proper goodbye. 

I was blacked out after my fight with the Chimera. It brought me back to that night. 

I never found out what happened to it. Did it die? One can only wonder. That's what my dad would say. 

I finished my letter and folded it up nicely and put it back in my bag. I would put it in an envelope later. 

"Moon!" Luke? Of course, it was Luke he was the one who gave me the name.

"Done so quick?" I yelled. He nodded. 

"Percy had his mind set, Annabeth and Grover his protector." he sat beside me. 

"That's smart, he chose his protector." I said. "Just wait til he finds out Grover also was our protector when we first came to camp." He laughed. 

I smiled. "How come I didn't get a protector?" I asked.

All Luke could do was shrug. "Maybe your mom made sure none came near you." I smiled at the thought. All these years.

"Untouchable she came out to be." Luke said. I could tell he meant me.

"You think they'll complete the quest?" I asked. Luke looked at me and began to speak. "They have Annabeth, she's wise and a fighter and of course, son of Poseidon and Grover. Grover is strong they'll be fine."

"I should go, I need to give Percy some shoes." Luke got up dusting his pants. 

"Let me guess, special shoes?" Luke nodded. "They have wings, now I'm hoping he's my size." Luke sprinted to his cabin after that.

I decided I'd take a walk to clear my mind.

Okay, I couldn't clear my mind. 

I had not seen Calista all day. I went to her cabin to ask her sisters but they had not seen her either. 

I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Sure I was in the safest place for a half blood so why am I so worried? 

I was walking around near the lake daydreaming almost until I heard someone call me. "Hey! Y/n?" I turned around. 

I had never seen this guy before. Of course, he wore the camp shirt, he had grown-out hair. It looked nice though. He also had freckles and brown eyes. 

"Do I know you?" I asked. I turned to him and crossed my arms arching my brows in the process. "My name is Aspis, son of Artemis." He laughed. He had a paper in his hand and it said my name. 

"Daughter of Nyx." I brought my hand out for him to shake. He accepted it. 

"Yeah everyone knows who you are especially with a mother like that? You're pretty popular." Aspis said. 

I guess I was famous now. Maybe I can convince them to buy me something later.

"Uh anyway, Calista wanted me to give this to you." he handed me the paper which I found out was a letter.

"Calista? Do you know where she is?" I asked frantically. 

The emotion spiked me. I was chipping at my fingernails waiting for an answer. My knees were about to give up at that point. I had to know what happened. Was Calista okay? 

Her sisters had not seen her either so where was she? 

Calista couldn't fight. Or maybe she was holding back in capture the flag? No way. If Calista was able to fight she would have not been missing from camp. 

Maybe an Ares kid got her so they could hurt me emotionally?

"Calista's gone."
