The judge entered the courtroom, and everyone bowed in respect. Reyansh stood in the witness box, with his family present in court room. It had been a week since they last saw him; the police hadn't allowed them to meet. Tears welled up in his mother's eyes as she saw her son in such a state. The bruises on his face had turned a deep shade of purple, clearly visible even from a distance. It was a heartbreaking sight.
