I'm writing this as I have run out of Riff fanfics to read for myself. I am using google translate for any Spanish I include so I apologise if it's not completely accurate. Feel free to correct me on my mistakes.
Extra Notes
- Okay, I know I literally just started writing my first Riff fanfic just a few days ago but this story idea just popped into my head and I was too excited about it to not write it
- I'm writing this purely for fun so don't expect it to be the best story you've read
- English is my first language so if I write something that doesn't make sense it's because I'm a bit stupid
- I am actually so obsessed with Mike Faist, specifically him playing Riff Lorton and I will actually come for ANYONE who claims that he is their husband.
- I'm not completely familiar with the lore and whatnot (like the which Jets are dating which girls) So for the Jet girlfriends I'm using the girls that were used from nxjwaazmxn's book, 'Imperfect Love' It is literally the best WSS book I have ever read and you guys NEED to read it if you haven't already.
- In the screenplay I based off of, it states that Riff is 18 and for my story to run smoothly, Elizabeth has to be 16. I don't mind small jokes about Riff being a legal adult and Elizabeth being a teenager, just don't take it too far. It is only a 2 year gap.
- I'm Australian trying to write like an American so don't mind me using some British/Australian spelling and sayings.
