Who knows where I was and I really don't care right now. I walked up to one of the white worn out bridge that draped over a waterfall like a curtain. There were more flowers but most of them were just different colored roses. Butterflies were seen everywhere. If I wasn't so mad I would have enjoyed this place more. I heard leaves cracking on the ground and figured that Kildare had followed me.

"Hey-"

"Go away." He didn't leave though. He walked up to me and spun me around so that I was facing him "This is going to be really difficult for me but-" I gave him a confused look, "But what?" He sighed, "Like I said, this is going to be really hard for me but, I'm really sorry. Don't say anything yet, this is really hard for me. I just need you to listen okay? I'm sorry for bringing you here with me. I knew the minute I would ask you to come with me; I wouldn't be able to take it back. I was kind of hoping you would say yes though. I guess I was just blinded by how beautiful you looked that day. I'm so sorry for dragging you in this because now you're in trouble and I'm afraid because I don't want anything to happen to you. I'm just sorry for everything. Your friends are probably looking for you and who knows if we'll make it out alive from this war that I also dragged you in. It's only because the minute I saw you I was blinded by the fact that I was falling for you-" Did I just think he said what I think he said? He covered his moth and his eyes went wide, "Wait no...I didn't mean like...I mean-"

"I like you too Kildare."

"Really?" He was getting really excited and happy and that made me smile, "Yes really Kildare, you're so silly." He smiled and we both started to lean in. It was like something was pushing us closer. We were so close to kiss. I could feel his breath on my lips.

"OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH MY GOD!" I AM SO SORRY!" We broke free and I saw one of the fawns trying to run away but Kildare stopped him, "What is it? I was kind of busy with something." I was probably blushing like an idiot, "Yeah, I can see that. I'm sorry but the princess was calling for you. She wants both you and Zero to prepare for the ball." I was confused, "The Ball?"

"The Nanethians usually have a ball for everyone before a war or after something tragic happens. It's basically a day to forget."

"Exactly so if you don't mind, Kildare go visit the Princess and Zero, come with me."

"Of course." I started walking behind the fawn but Kildare grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. Before I could process what was happening he kissed my cheek and then winked at me, "I'll see you at the ball beautiful." And with that he left, leaving me speechless and breathless. I hate him.
