Volume 1 - Chapter 14: Class Division

?: Let's see... Room 307...

Currently, Hachiman Hikigaya was walking at the 3rd floor of the dorm building, and he was looking for room 307.

Just three weeks after April 1st, Hachiman was appointed as one of the class leaders of Class C by Lelouch Lamperogue, the main leader, along side with Kakeru Ryuuen and Dazai Osamu.

And right now, the dead fish-eyed boy was summoned by Lelouch to discuss about something at his room, room 307.

Hachiman: Found it. Room 307.

After arriving at the destination, Hachiman knocked at the door three times.

?: Please wait a moment.

Few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Lelouch who was standing in front of him.

Lelouch: Ah, Hikigaya-kun, you are finally here.

Hachiman: Are those two here yet?

Lelouch: Oh, they are currently here. Please come in.

Hachiman came into the room and found out both Kakeru and Dazai in the living room.

Kakeru: So you're finally here, Hikigaya.

Dazai: Good afternoon, Hikigaya-san.

Hachiman: Afternoon, Ryuuen and Osamu.

Lelouch: Okay Hikigaya-kun, please take a seat.

The dead fish-eyed boy sat on a chair before looking at Lelouch.

Dazai: So, Lelouch-san, is there any reasons to call us here to discuss with you?

Kakeru: It would better be something interesting.

Lelouch: Don't worry, gentlemen. And I think you would love this idea.

Hachiman: I see. So what do you have for us?

Lelouch then said.

Lelouch: I think we, Class C should have a Class Division System.

Hachiman, Kakeru & Dazai: Class Division System?

Lelouch: It's a system that I've thought before, which mostly based on based on our class's strengths and capabilities.

Kakeru: Okay, now it's gonna be interesting. Explain.

Lelouch: Okay, so this class division system will have four main roles: Core, Economy, Information, and Security. And I will explain each role.

The three other leaders nodded.

Lelouch: First is Core Division, which is for the leaders and strategists of this class, a.k.a the four of us. Each of us, the four leaders, will have our own approach with dealing with other classes at the upcoming war.

Dazai: Interesting...

Lelouch: Second is the Economy Division. As you know, the S-System is a very important part of class competitions. Therefore, we Class C would need all the points we can get, and there are multiple ways for us to get points. For example: The main way is through the 1st of every month, or club activities (ie: Sports cooperation, betting,...), and part time jobs. 

Hachiman: I see, since private points is one of the most important things we would need in the future, this is where the Economy Division gets worked.

Lelouch: Correct, Hikigaya-kun. As our teachers said in April 1st, we could buy everything in this school with private points. Therefore, we must save a large amount of private points in case something bad happens.
