It had now been two full weeks since Ali and Cameron had been staying with Tashina and her family, and Ali had been very behaved. At least he kept up their childlike act very well. Except for the spy that was secretly eaten alive by him and Cameron who had expertly hid the corpse; after some quick scolding and little slap on the wrist with a literal twig.(which was very flimsy) Ali was quickly forgiven, and was even petted after showing an aggrieved look.
The reason why they were still staying with Tashina and her family was because Tashina was very reluctant to make them leave. It seemed as if Cameron and Ali had been playing their childlike roles too well; now Tashina even thought that they were too young to take care of themselves. But Cameron didn't mind; they didn't have anywhere to go at the moment anyway. In the day they would help the other kids with chores and in the night they would talk to each other; giggling silently.
At the moment they were both washing the dirty breakfast dishes. Cameron washed while Ali wiped. When Tashina came and saw this she smiled.
"When you two are finished go play and have fun"
"Okay!" Cameron and Ali both answered in union. Tashina once again smiled before going on her merry way. After finishing the dishes Cameron dried his hands before taking Ali off the stool he was standing on.
"Cameron"
"Hmm?" Cameron hummed in response as he dried Ali's wet hands.
''Can we go out to play?I want to see the inside of the town..."Cameron paused his movements and thought about it. It might be true that ever since coming here they have yet to explore the town. He then nodded in agreement
"But we have to tell aunty Tanisha first okay?"vAli nodded his head,"I'll go tell her and you go get our money?"
"Sure" Cameron responded with a slight smile. Ali also smiled, and took off to find Tashina.
'Finally me and Cameron can go on a date together!'
Ali thought happily. Cameron, who didn't know about Ali's ulterior motives went to get the money they had stored up. He took all of the money wrapped up in an old, weathered piece of clothes in the small drawer in the room. The piece of cloth was also buried under the second handed clothes that Tanisha had given to them.
Cameron placed the piece of cloth on the top of the drawer, and unfolded it. All of their money also tumbled out of the enclosed place; This was a mixture of money that Cameron both had bought with them here and the small allowance that Tashina gave them as she now considers them as her children. It was a total of 20 level 1 ms.

10 lvl 1 ms (mana stones)=1 lvl 2 ms
100 lvl 2 ms =1 lvl 3 ms
1000 lvl 3 ms = 1 lvl 4 ms)
He decisively took out 5 lvl 1 ms and put them in his pocket. He then placed back the money, and went out to meet Ali at the door. Ali however was already there waiting with a smiling Tashina. She was smiling adoringly, and talking to Ali in a soft tone. Ali looked very obedient and adorable as he nodded to what Tashina was saying.
When Cameron came up to them Tashina’s attention was then turned to him.
"You have to promise me that you'll take care of yourself and Ali okay?”
Cameron nodded obediently and Tashina felt a bit more secure in her heart, after taking care of these two obedient children the past weeks the more she treated them more and more like her children. She feels truly sorry for the day they would have to leave them.
Shaking away the sad thoughts she once again smiled at them.
"Take care and have fun okay?"
"Okay!" They both obediently answered with childish smiles. Tashina watched as they left before going back into the house.
Ali looked around as Cameron guided him towards the town's center. They passed a lot of houses on the way, and Ali couldn't help but marvel at the sight. You barely ever see houses like this in the modern world; From what he had heard anyway. When they reached the town center Ali was even more amazed. He looked eagerly at the stylish shops, and people walking around.
As Cameron led him a stall suddenly caught his eye and he tugged on Cameron to stop him. Cameron immediately stopped and looked towards where Ali was pointing. A little old man was selling skewers at his stall. Seeing them looking at him, the old man immediately gave them a small smile.
"Would you boys like a skewer? It's only 1 lvl1 ms each"
Cameron nodded before buying a skewer for Ali.
Ali took it happily "Thank you!"
Cameron smiled before pressing a small kiss on Ali's cheek.
Ali's face flushed slightly before turning his attention back to his skewer. It was at least four fingers long and was layered with all kinds of crispy meat and stir fried vegetables. All of which Ali didn't know but they looked quite delicious to eat. He instantly took a bite and the delicious flavor of different meat and vegetables exploded in his mouth. Ali squinted his eyes on satisfaction before slowly chewing to savor the flavor in his mouth.
When he finally swallowed they were already in a park where people were having picnics, and sitting on benches chatting or simply walking around as they talked.
This was quite a large park that was very popular to commoners and it even had a bit of nature. Cameron looked around slightly before choosing to sit down at a seat that was quite secluded under a large tree; wedged in between some bushes.
They sat down and Cameron watched with amusement as Ali ate. The slightly large skewer with relish. After taking another bite Ali then raised his skewer to Cameron's lips, and looked at him eagerly. Cameron chuckled slightly before taking a bite. Ali’s tail swayed as he then took a bite where Cameron had bitten.
'Indirect kiss!' he thought happily.
He however wasn't able to celebrate long when the sound of feet came into their ears. Cameron looked up with vigilance…
