Ali hurriedly ate the large breakfast provided to him, and his sister early in the morning.
'Today school started again, and he was going to be late damn it!'
Min Bo slammed down her empty glass and stood up.
"Alright! I'm off! See you losers later!"
She shouted as she ran off.
Mother Min snorted, and Father Min smiled a little. Ali merely rolled his eyes, he had such an 'enthusiastic' sister. He also finished his breakfast, and got up "I'm leaving"
He heard the two hum as he left. He apparently didn't live too far from the school, so he could walk there.
He silently followed the route in his mind, when an arm wrapped itself around his neck in a friendly manner.
"Brother Min!" a loud voice greeted. Ali looked at this person who suddenly appeared silently. The sudden invasion of his private space almost made him slam this guy into the ground, but fortunately he had controlled himself.
'Who is this?' he asked Qui qui who was floating beside him. Qui qui answered promptly, 'This Wu Yi! The original’s best friend from childhood.'
Ali patiently took the others’ hand off from around his neck
"Hi" he responded noncommittally. Wu Yi gasped dramatically
"Is this how you treat your brother now?!" Ali ignored him, and continued to walk forward. This was also the attitude of the original so Wu Yi was used to it, and didn't take him seriously.
"You've been gone so long, where have you been?! And you weren't answering my calls!"
he complained as he fell in step with Ali.
"I had been sick, and the doctor advised that I shouldn't be disturbed."
Ali answered as they came to the gate. Wu Yi nodded along in understanding before pausing,"Wait are you calling me a disturbance?!"
"Aren't you?" Ali answered with distaste. Wu Yi's eyes widened, and he glared. "Why you little..."
The bell rang, and Wu Yi grinned, "You're lucky this time bastard, see you at lunch!"
Ali didn't even have time to say anything as the other disappeared. He silently turned around, and went to his first class according to his memories.
When he entered the class students were still entering, when everyone noticed him the class fell silent for a bit before they resumed their conversations. Ali didn't let this bother him, and began looking for his seat when he caught a faint scent. His eyes immediately snapped towards the source, and saw Gao Wenyang sitting at his own seat by the window reading a book.
Without him even realizing his legs carried him over to where he was. When he stood in front of the desk, Gao Wenyang started feeling a hot gaze on him, looked up, and saw Min Shui staring at him feverishly. Gao Wenyang raised an eyebrow wondering what he did to upset this delinquent. Although Min Shui didn't hurt students discriminatively, if you messed with him you'll definitely regret it.
Ali meeting Gao Wenyang's gaze blushes slightly; however, it was another thing when he glanced at Gao Wenyang's shivering desk mate. Ali glared at him fiercely, and the desk mate quickly packed up and left.
Ali sat down beside Gao Wenyang in satisfaction. He then glared at the curious bystanders who quickly looked away, and resumed their conversations as if they weren't spying in the first place.
Gao Wenyang watched in bewilderment as Ali proceeded to take out his textbook, pen, and notebook. Placed them neatly on his side of the desk before smiling at him. Seeing that smile directed at him Gao Wenyang's heart gave an unexpected shudder, and he almost forgot to breathe. When he did remember to breathe his heart continued to beat loudly in his chest.
Despite all this internal chaos Gao Wenyang looked aloof on the outside, and nodded at Ali before turning back to his book.
'This is the second time' he thought to himself with a slight frown. Ali on the other hand felt aggrieved at being dismissed so casually. As class started, and continued he would sneak short, loving glances at Gao Wenyang every now and then.
Gao Wenyang of course noticed this, but pretended not to. He refused to admit that everytime Min Shui glanced at him his heart gave a slight flutter. At the end of class he quickly packed his things, and escaped. Ali, who wanted to chase after him, didn't even see where he turned. He packed his things, and was about to track him down when a bottle of banana milk from the school vending machine was placed on his desk.
He looked up, and Wu Yi smirked down at him
"Me and the other guys are skipping school, wanna come?"
He asked as he sipped his soda. Ali shook his head as he took the milk. It was milk after all, and he had never tasted this flavor before.
"I’m going to do something, so I can't"
Wu Yi shrugged,"Alright, at least come to the karaoke club later, and sneak out with us as usual, I got some money from some relatives recently."
Feeling a slightly guilty conscience, Ali nodded,"Alright"
Wu Yi's smirk widened,"Alright! See you later!"
He then walked away.
Ali berated himself for saying yes out of a moment of weakness, and sniffed the air subtly. Holding his banana milk he followed a certain scent all the way to the library. He then sniffed Gao Wenyang who was going through some books while talking to someone. Ali internally sneered, and swallowed the hiss in his throat. He sat down beside Gao Wenyang
"Mind if I join you guys?" He asked as he made himself comfortable, and pulled his banana milk to his lips.
Jin Jing stared at him in confusion, while Gao Wenyang looked at him silently.
"Uh, sure?" Jin Jing answered after a while. Ali sipped his milk, and almost purred at its deliciousness,
"So what are we talking about?"
He scooted closer to Gao Wenyang, and peered into the book the other was looking at. Gao Wenyang silently indulged him.
"Well it will be my birthday soon, and I'm hosting a party. We were discussing the details." Jin Jing answered, slightly shocked at Gao Wenyang's indulgence to Min Shui. Gao Wenyang couldn't stand people intentionally entering his personal space, not even her. Yet this Min Shui was tolerated.
