Glancing back at the town for a moment, Cameron then turned around and made his way into the cave. He then glanced back at the map in his hands.He was currently in a cave which was deep in the forest on the mountain top.
Cameron couldn't help but be a bit worried. He had left his little kitten all by himself at the inn. After giving strict, and precise instructions to not open the door for strangers, and leaving some snacks he had finally been able to leave after giving Ali some pecks on the cheek, and some pats on the head.
Now he was here going inside the cave where the golem was located. Although he would have loved to bring Ali with him he couldn't because of the intense hot air in the cave. Ali was absolutely utterly devastated, he was whining, and whimpering the whole morning before Cameron had spent all of time being able to coax him to stay.
Cameron slightly chuckled at the memory, being slightly humored by it before putting away the map, and walked forward. The map said to continue forward so he no longer needed it yet, and only needed to walk forward. Cameron discreetly activated the mana inside of him. The mana actively began to run through him. Cameron was now prepared for any unexpected encounter.
He fortunately didn't see, or meet anything unexpected until he reached a clearing. It was quite spacious, and nothing quite literally was in it except a very large rock.
Cameron narrowed his eyes, he then jumped in the air. Suddenly the place where he had been standing exploded in flames. He had luckily felt the rapid condensation of mana, and had moved away just in time.
And then the still 'rock' began to shift, the cave shook slightly as if the 'rock' hadn't moved in a very long time. Cameron stood where he had landed, and began to make his own black flames in the palm of his left hand. It only took a few moments before the golems' entire being was seen. Its eyes glowed with a red shimmer, and the cracks on its body glowed with the lava from within.
Cameron was about to attack it when he remembered that he was supposed to catch it and not kill it. Cameron's lips twitched at this realization. Sensing upcoming danger he once again jumped away from where he was currently standing, and then the golems large hand then crashed onto that same spot.
Cameron calmly landed on his feet, and took out the mana sheet which already had his name written with mana entwined into it. When the golem recognizes the mana on the sheet he will then willingly follow Cameron. Holding the mana sheet tightly, and yet not too tightly in the same moment. Cameron jumped into the air, and landed behind the golem. Behind every golem's neck a small hole will be located at the bottom. This is where mana sheets are inserted, but blocking this very hole is a mana stone which is the mana source of each golem.
Taking it out will make the golem shut down, and allow him to insert the mana sheet. So when he puts the mana stone back in the golem, it will then serve him as its new master. Cameron once again jumped into the air, this time he was aiming towards the golem's neck to take out its mana stone. But how could this golem be taken down so easily? It then raised its large hand, and swiped it towards Cameron as if it was swatting a fly.
Cameron as if expecting its retaliation twisted slightly, and used his hand to bounce off the golems hand, and away from the danger. Once safe Cameron couldn't help but sigh that this was going to be a long fight...
Ali yawned lazily as he sleepily rubbed his check against the pillow that Cameron had slept on the night before. It still had Cameron's scent on it which Ali was sniffing like it was the most addictive drug. He couldn't help but purr happily after his quite possibly 100th sniff.
He stayed like that for a while before he suddenly remembered that Cameron might want something to eat when he came back. Ali quickly got up, although it was a bit sluggish. He then made his way into the kitchen, he then paused. He didn't know how to cook!
In his past life he spent his whole life in a hospital bed, and in this life Cameron took care of what they ate so he didn't have to worry about it before, but now it has become a really big problem! Ali mused. He needed to learn to cook, to feed his Cameron! Ali nodded his head with determination.
He then looked at the few vegetables, meat buns, and rice Cameron had left to be eaten by him. The meat buns were for him to specifically eat for lunch until Cameron came back, and the rice, and veggies were for Cameron to cook when he came back. Looking at the limited food supply Ali could only shove the thought of cooking for Cameron down the drain. There was too little food to practice anything, and he didn't want to waste it.
He then set his sights on the meat buns. He will just have to eat these up until Cameron comes back.

Cameron got off the golems back tiredly. Ignoring the dangerous gazes on him as he ordered the golem to stay at the door of the inn, and protect the people inside. The golem instantly moved into place and stood still, he will definitely not disobey the orders of its new master. Cameron gave a satisfactory nod before walking into the inn, and made his way straight into the room he shared with Ali.
He hadn't even been halfway through the door when. He was hugged by something eagerly. Cameron chuckled happily before lifting Ali up into his arms and closing the door behind him. "Did my kitten miss me?" he asked as he made his way to the room. Ali eagerly nodded, and gave Cameron a small lick on his cheek, "I missed you a lot" he said, poutingly.
Cameron smiled even more happily before putting Ali down on the bed. He then grabbed one of the large bathing towels in the room,"I'll go take a bath, and come back okay?" he said to Ali who immediately nodded. Cameron then went into the bathroom for a quick bath. When he came out again Ali was holding a plate of warm meat buns. Cameron couldn't help, but break on into a smile."For me?" he asked, Ali nodded "Let's eat and then go to sleep!" He had noticed Cameron's tiredness in his eyes earlier, and besides he wanted to sleep too!
