Jobe lounged on the couch, his legs sprawled comfortably while absently flipping through TV channels.

You, nestled beside him, absentmindedly tapping your fingers against your mug, lost in thought.

"Any ideas for today?" Jobe inquired, breaking the peaceful silence that enveloped you two.

"Hmm, not really," you replied, a playful glint in your eyes.

"But we could use a little adventure, don't you think?"

He grinned, amused by your suggestion. "Adventure? In our living room?"

"Why not?" you teased. "We could create an indoor obstacle course or build a fort with all those blankets."

Jobe chuckled. "Sounds like a kid's dream, doesn't it?"

"Exactly!" you exclaimed. "We've been so busy lately, it's nice to just let loose and have some fun."

Jobe considered your words, realizing the allure of a carefree day.

"You might be onto something there. But what about something outside? It's winter, we could try ice skating!"

Your eyes brightened at the suggestion. "Ice skating? That could be amazing! I haven't done that in ages."

"Yeah, it'd be a good laugh," Jobe agreed, nodding. "Plus, I bet I can still beat you in a race on the ice."

You laughed, rolling your eyes playfully. "We'll see about that!"

Jobe and you started your preparations for the impending ice-skating escapade.

"I can't believe we're doing this," you said, a twinkle of excitement in your eyes as you searched for your mittens.

Jobe grinned, holding up two pairs of socks. "Well, sometimes the best plans are the spontaneous ones, right?"

You laughed, nodding in agreement. "Absolutely. Now, I need a Christmas playlist for the ride!"

You huddled around in the living room, searching for your phone and scrolling through your playlists and debating over the perfect mix of songs.

"Alright, playlist sorted," you declared triumphantly. "Now, can we pack snacks for the road?"

Jobe'a eyes sparkled at your excitement. "Definitely!"

You raided the kitchen, assembling a stash of snacks that ranged from chocolate bars to gummies, ensuring they were well-equipped for their impromptu winter adventure.

With your playlist ready and snacks in hand, you turned your attention to the final detail – bundling up in warm layers.

Scarves were draped, hats snugly placed, and gloves secured.

You admired each other's winter attire with a playful twirl.

As you locked the door behind yourself, carrying the excitement of your preparations, you stepped into the chilly air, ready to embark on a day filled with excitement of being together.

It was long ago since you and Jobe went out to do something since his schedule was quite tight and busy.

The two of you arrived at the outside rink, a Christmas tree was standing next to it, it was beautiful.

"Remember the first time we skated together, babe?" Jobe asked, putting an arm around you, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips as you swirled around the ice.

"How could I forget?" You chuckled, your eyes twinkling with memories.

"We were both trying so hard not to fall, clinging to each other like our lives depended on it!"

"Yeah, we were a sight," Jobe agreed, gliding gracefully alongside you. "But we got the hang of it eventually."

"And now look at us," you remarked, gesturing around the rink. "Practically pros!"

Jobe grinned, watching you with admiration. "Well, you're definitely getting there. I might need a little more practice to catch up."

You nudged him playfully. "Oh, come on! You're doing just fine."

"Do you remember that time you almost crashed into that snowman-shaped decoration at the rink's corner?" you teased.

Jobe laughed. "Oh, no! I blame the slippery ice!"

„Yeah it was definitely the ice, babe" you teased him.

You skated closer to the center of the rink, enjoying the lively atmosphere and the joyous energy around you. The music changed, a familiar tune sparking a shared excitement between you.

"This song!" you exclaimed, recognizing the melody. "It was playing the first time we skated together."

"It was, wasn't it?" Jobe said, a soft smile forming. "Feels like it's our skating anthem now."

Hand in hand, the two of you glided effortlessly to the rhythm of the music, your movements synchronized as if you were dancing on ice.

As you tried going a bit faster, you suddenly slipped, obviously taking Jobe with you.

As you both layed on the ground, you started laughing, looking at Jobe as you saw he was already looking at you.

It felt like it was just the two of you in that moment.

"Have i already told you how insanely beautiful you are, my love?" Jobe told you while standing up and pulling you up with him.

As you both stood in each other's arms, Jobe stroke your hair out of your face and leaned down to kiss you.

After those years of being together with him, kissing Jobe was something you never got used to. Every time, it was something exciting.

As the day began to wane, casting a serene hue over the rink, you took a final lap, your skates tracing patterns on the ice.

Reluctantly, you made your way off the rink, your hearts full from the day's adventure and the warmth of your shared experiences.

Your voices filled the air as you made your way home, animatedly recounting the highlights of your skating spree, your laughter echoing in the wintry night.

When the two of you walked through the door of your shared home, you pulled Jobe towards the couch where you both got comfortable to watch a movie together.

"Do you want a hot chocolate, babe?" Jobe asked you.

"Oh! Yeah that would be great. I'll do it you stay here."

"No, no. You stay here, relax, babe. I'll do it." Jobe told you while stroking your shoulder.

After a few minutes, Jobe came back into the living room with two steaming mugs of hot chocolate in his hands.

He put them down on the coffee table, getting comfortable next to you on the couch as you put the blanket over his legs.

Jobe put an arm around you, pulling you close and putting a tender kiss on your forehead.
