"Mum!!! Look, look!" You heard your son, Dylan, scream from his room.

Your motherly instinct instantly kicking in as you rushed up the stairs to the room of your 4- year old.

You opened the door and were immediately relieved when you saw him sitting on his window with a finger on the glass, looking at you with glistening eyes.

"What is it, darling?" You asked, walking over to where Dylan was seated.

"There! There's so much snow! Do you think it will still be there tomorrow?" Dylan asked you, looking up into your eyes with hope. He admired snow from the moment he first saw it on his first Christmas.

"Yeah the reporters said it yesterday. It's gonna snow the whole night, honey. There's even a chance that daddy doesn't have training tomorrow so he can stay home with us." You told your son, whispering the last part.

"Really? I want to build a snowman with daddy tomorrow!" Dylan said, jumping off the windowsill when he heard the front door open, indicating that Jude was home.

You followed him down the stairs only to see him jumping on Jude, hugging him and telling him how much it is snowing so that he wants to build a snowman with him.

As you approached Jude, you hugged him tightly and he looked down to give you a soft kiss.

"Hey, babe. How was your day?" Jude asked you, stroking his hand on your lower back.

"Yeah it was good. How was training?"

"Good as always. I think we don't have training tomorrow to be honest. It's already white outside and it's just started snowing." He told you, looking down at his son.

"And you wanna build a snowman tomorrow, buddy?" He asked, crouching down to your son's height.

"Yes! With you and mommy, daddy!" He exclaimed being excited as never before.

It got late and the three of you sat down for dinner just before you and Jude put Dylan to bed to have some time to yourself.

"I finished the carrots today, babe. I'll go buy new one tomorrow for Dylan." You told Jude as you stood up to write it down on a piece of paper which you stuck to the fridge so you won't forget tomorrow.

"Don't worry, that's fine. Now come here. I want to cuddle you, baby." Jude told you making stupid little grabby arms towards you.

The two of you spent some more time on the couch, cuddling and watching TV before you both went to bed.

Waking up the next morning you looked to your right just to see Jude fast asleep. You took a look on your phone to realize it was 8 am, the time Jude had to be at the training ground today.

"Jude, Jude wake up you have training why didn't you set an alarm?!" You said, panicking as you woke up your boyfriend.

Groaning, he turned to face you, looking in your panicked eyes, chuckling lightly. "Babe, we don't have training. I got a message this morning, don't worry we can sleep in today." Jude reassured you, as he pulled you down into his arms. And with that you were fast asleep again.

Jude and you were in a deep slumber until you felt the bed dip on your side and not soon later the voice of your son.

"Mum! Dad! Wake up. There's snow EVERYWHERE!!" Dylan exclaimed with so much excitement evident in his voice. He jumped up and down on your shared bed jumping on top of Jude and you.

"Daddy, come on let's build a snowman, come on!" You heard Dylan say to which Jude groaned but did get up after a few minutes.

You made some breakfast for the three of you which you all ate together.

You then picked out clothes for Dylan to wear in the snow and changed him into them while Jude also changed into his.

The three of you opened the front door. Jude and Dylan prepared to build a snowman and you to get some carrots.

But as you walked out to your front yard you saw how much snow actually came down. It was so much that nothing was free. You would definitely not be able to get your car out of the drive way and especially not onto the road to drive.

"Buddy, I think we have to build our snowman without a nose today." Jude told Dylan, crouching down.

"But why? Can't you just walk, mommy?" He asked, looking up at you with sad eyes.

"Yeah of course, honey. It'll just take a little bit longer but i'll go right now." You answered when you saw how sad he actually looked.

"No, babe. I won't let you walk alone with this much snow. I'm sure we have something else to use for our nose." Jude said to you, putting an arm around your shoulder. "Dyl, we'll find something else, i promise."

"I'll go look for something right now okay? You go start on the snowman with daddy, okay?" You told Dylan as he looked happy again.

You searched the whole house for something to use as a nose. You almost gave up but you ended up finding a candy cane which you thought fitted perfectly.

You stepped outside again only to see Dylan and Jude playing in the snow next to the finished snowman.

"Hey boys! I've got your nose!" You shouted to which you saw two heads turn to you, laughing.

"Mommy you do it!" Dylan told you as he came running to you, dragging you by your hand towards the snowman they built.

After you put the nose into the snow, Dylan looked up at you and hugged you around your leg. You ruffled his hair.

Just then Jude put an arm around your waist and kissed the side of your head as you turned to him and smiled. "I love you so much, baby. Thank you for giving me everything I need and always wished for." He told you just before placing a soft but loving kiss on your lips.

"Eww, stop!" You just heard from your leg, the both of you just laughing.

You were so so happy.
