True Colors

Third Person POV:
Natsu is yelling at the king about how he’s not going to move from where he is, and how he won’t give up until he wins this fight against him. He then encouragingly tells Wendy and Gajeel that if he’s all out of magic today, then he’ll borrow some from tomorrow. Kinda smart if you think about it. The three dragon slayers all get up and get ready to fight the king, when all of a sudden, they all feel an overwhelming force of magic power. The king feels it too, and they all turn to look at Candy, who’s now standing calmly. She smirks at Natsu, “That’s a good idea Natsu.” The other dragon slayers smirk proudly at her, and the strength of her energy somehow makes them all stronger than before, their magic power feeling completely replenished. She walks over to stand amid them, and they all glare up at the King, who’s trembling in fear from within the Dorma Anim. He trembles in terror, now not viewing the dragon slayers as humans with magic, but instead, he sees them as actual dragons. He sees why the dragon slayers are so terrifying and why people called him stupid for challenging them. He wonders how he could have ever wanted something so terrifying as they all attack him at the same time, destroying the Dorma Anim completely. Their attacks were so powerful that the effects of them hit the king as well, knocking him out. The three of them are all almost completely wiped out after that, and they all fall to the ground. Candy holds her arm in pain and starts to bandage it up as best as she can with some cloth she tore off her shirt as she looks over to the treeline again, only to see that Laxus isn’t there. She smiles warmly and chuckles to herself. Wendy turns to her, “What’s so funny, Candy?” She smiles and says, “Just to think, I finally have something I did that Laxus didn’t do.” The others laugh at that lightly, and Natsu says, “You and me both.” Candy laughs lightly at that, and thinks out loud, “Wait ‘til I tell the Thunder Legion about this. They’ll probably not let me or Rosie leave our room for a month!” Gajeel chuckles at this, “I don’t think it’ll be a month. It’ll probably be about three months, just for their own sanity. You’re a crazy kid.” Candy laughs a bit louder at this, “I try.” The four of them laugh at the same time, and just lay there, resting. They know their job is done for now, and until they have to do something else, they want to get all the rest they can. Then, Candy says, “Thank you, Natsu.” He turns his head in her direction, confused, “What for?” She smiles, “For keeping your promise.” He smirks, “Heh, yeah. You can count on me tiny.” Candy smiles warmly at his nickname for her.

After the four lay there for a while, they all notice that all of the floating islands are starting to fall out of the sky. “The floating islands are fallin’! What the heck?!” Natsu shouts in shock. The others look up just as shocked. “But isn’t the floatation of the islands dependent upon the magic power of Extalia?! If the islands are falling, what’s happened to Extalia?!” Candy shouts, confused. Then, yellow beams of light start to flow from the ground around us and into the sky. Wendy looks at the beams, her eyes wide with surprise. “What’s happening?!” Little do they know that the yellow beams are the magic power of Edolas, leaving through a reverse anima that leads to Earthland. And in the room where the reverse anima was activated, stands Mystogan, Lily, and Rosie. Lily now being strong enough to stand on his own, Rosie is standing a bit farther back from the other two, observing their conversation. Mystogan is the one who opened up this reverse anima, and is causing the magic power to leave Edolas. “Prince.” Lily says, confused. Mystogan simply says, “This is for the best Lily. The people have always fought over power. I tried to warn them, but they couldn’t let go of temptation. So I shall remove that temptation. The last of our power will pour into the reverse anima. Once it reaches Earthland, it will be absorbed by the already abundant magic power there and become part of nature. For the sake of Edolas’ future, it must first be brought to ruin.”

At the same time, where all of the rest of our Fairy Tail wizards were fighting off the royal army, everyone has ceased fighting, the fear of what’s happening around them scaring them equally. The Edolas Fairy Tail stares at their magic objects in horror as they get sucked into the reverse anima along with the rest of the magic power. The Earthland Fairy Tail Wizards look on in confusion at what’s happening, also confused as to why everyone’s so scared. The soldiers are also just as terrified. As a result of their fear, the soldiers drop their weapons and run away in fear. The Earthland Wizards get excited, however, Edolas Fairy Tail isn’t as happy. They don’t care about the outcome of the fight anymore, they’re more focused on panicking on how they’re going to survive without magic. All over Edolas, people are running around in a huge panic, scared about how their future will be.
