Don't Go!

After a while of walking, the three of us take a moment to sit, resting. We’re in a big forest, so it is very difficult to know where we’re going, but thanks to our combined strengths, we know that there’s some people we know to the north. We’re all sitting around the campfire, comfortable silence surrounding us. Sting breaks the silence after a while, “Candy, you haven’t said anything about what happened with that lady and…Acnologia.” I’m taken off guard by this, but I guess I haven’t really told them what happened. “Honestly, I’m not trying to hide it. I just didn’t think of mentioning it. Irene just sat back and watched as Acnologia and I argued. That’s really all we did, until he came at me, seeming like he was going to take me away, but Irene stopped him, fighting him off. She protected me, and honestly it shocked me. I don’t know why she saved me, but I guess since she and I are both against Acnologia, she thought I might help in his destruction. I guess..” Sting and Rogue share a look of confusion, and Rogue looks at the fire, “I’m just glad you’re okay, and with us. For the rest of this war, you have to stay with at least one of us, okay?” I chuckle, amused by his demand. “Okay, I think I can tolerate you two for a little longer.” They laugh at my sarcasm, and we decide to go to sleep. I lay between them, enjoying their warmth. I have a feeling that tomorrow will be tough, no matter what happens.

The next morning, we continue heading north, and the further north we go, the more I’m able to recognize the scents over there. It’s everyone from Fairy Tail. We leave the forest, and see all of Fairy Tail going up against the entire Spriggan 12 group! We rush in immediately, Rogue speeding ahead of us in his shadow, attacking Bloodman. I see some kind of prankster version of Wall sending missiles at everyone, and I immediately take a stance, an Ice Bow appearing in my hands, “ICICLE SHOT!!” A bunch of ice arrows go flying, destroying a few of the missiles, and a few of the others are destroyed using a very familiar space magic. I look over and see Minerva walking up to stand next to me, “If I recall correctly, this is the filth who used Rosie against you, Candy?” I nod my head, and she smirks, glaring at Wall, “Well, lucky us then.” I smirk, knowing that he’s got no chance now that Minerva is teaming up with me. Rogue goes to stand behind the two of us, Bloodman now standing next to Wall. “Do you two feel their strange magic power?” Minerva and I nod, “It’s quite odd, I believe they may be dead.” Minerva says, and I think, wondering what kind of power could cause this. Rogue then says, “That means they’re being controlled by someone. Yukino, can you take care of that?” Yukino nods, looking determined. Yes, she was already here before we got here. Sorano, who used to be Angel and who is now an ex member of the Oracion Seis, who is also now in Crime Sorciere with Jellal, suddenly just gets all giddy, “It’s amazing how nice you are to someone who’s not even in your guild!” Minerva looks confused, “Just who is this overly sappy girl?” Yukino looks nervous, “Uh, long story.” I chuckle, “Wow, Sorano. You really let them see your true colors, didn’t you?” She looks embarrassed, and glares at me, “Ugh! You and Eric always spoil my fun! It’s not fair!” I giggle at her adorableness, “Glad to see you again.” She smiles, and winks, “Well, you wouldn’t have been able to survive without me.” I roll my eyes, and look back at Wall, glaring at him. I go into my shadow, suddenly appearing behind him, shocking him, and I grab his head, slamming it into the ground. “Listen up you freak! You’re the one who hurt the Thunder Legion! And you hurt Laxus! That’s not acceptable in my book!” I cause an explosion to go off, but it doesn’t do much damage as he grabs my arm, throwing me away. I somehow manage to land on my feet, and look back up at him. He just starts cackling like a maniac, “HAHAHAHA! You’re not upset about that! You’re upset that I used your dead friend against you! You humans are always so over emotional about that stuff!! HAHAHAHA!” Minerva sends a huge attack his way, distracting him as he turns his back to me. When he’s completely distracted with Minerva, I run up, jumping on his back and grabbing the underside of his chin. He smirks, looking up at me, “What do you hope to do with that?” Minerva attacks his legs, causing him to fall over, and he suddenly looks scared as a bunch of alarms start to go off from his body, and I slowly rip his metallic head from his metallic body. When I finally rip it off, I throw it away, glaring at it. Minerva smiles nervously, “You’re really terrifying sometimes, Candy.” I smile nervously as I scratch the back of my head, “Sorry, Minerva. He just pissed me off.” I look over and see Gildart in a fight with God Serena! I smirk, rushing over to punch God Serena in the back of the head, sending him into the ground. I walk over to Gildarts, “Hey man! Where’ve you been this whole time?” He chuckles, “Didn’t know there was a war until I heard this voice in my head. My bad.” God Serena gets up, glaring daggers at me, “You! You’re the wizard everyone compares me with!” I give him an unimpressed look as I look up at Gildarts, who sighs, explaining with a monotone voice, “He has 8 dragon slayer lacrimas inside him. All of them have different elements.” I raise an eyebrow, smirking at him. “Oh? So you’re a fake Elemental Dragon Slayer?” He gets pissed at my words, “FAKE?! I’M NOT A FAKE!! I’M MORE POWERFUL THAN GOD!!” Man, he’s definitely delusional. That’s what happens when you put a man like that on top for so long. “Uh-huh. Sure, that’s assuming God would waste his time with someone like you.” Gildarts snorts, trying not to laugh. God Serena attacks us with Lightning and Water combined, splitting the attack to hit both of us. Gildarts just splits the attack with his magic and I eat it all up. Gildarts smirks, “It’s a damn shame. I wish I could’ve fought you at your real strength.” He then pulls his fist back, ready to land a punch on him, and I combine my magic with his, using wind magic. We both land a huge, powerful punch on him, and send him flying. “Wow, he was a lot weaker than I initially thought he would be.” Gildarts shrugs, “That’s because he’s dead. He’s not the real God Serena. The real one was killed.” I look up at him, surprised, “By who?” He shakes his head, “I don’t know. But it doesn’t matter.” I nod, agreeing with him. Everyone in Fairy Tail then charges at the army, ready to fight all of them. Suddenly, a huge blizzard surrounds everyone. This must be Invel, the Winter General! I suddenly start shivering, shocking not only everyone else, but me as well! I’m actually affected by the cold! Mira looks at me, completely shocked, “You’re cold?!” I hug myself, trying to warm myself up, “God, it’s freezing!” Everyone gives me blank stares, and suddenly they all shout, “WHAT?!?!” I roll my eyes, frustrated with them. They’re always so overdramatic. “Oh, shut up! Invel is a powerful winter wizard! I’m sure even Gray and Lyon are freezing as well.” I hear a voice behind me suddenly, “Well, now isn’t this a shock.” I turn around quickly, blocking an attack from a man with blonde hair and white eyes. Who is this man?! “My dearest Aunt is getting cold, this is something to remember.” What? I’m not his aunt! I don’t have any brothers or sisters! Yukino, Sorano, Lector, and Frosch are close to me, and they watch in shock. I kick the man away, “What do you mean, Aunt? I don’t have any siblings!” He chuckles, “Oh, but you have a cousin. You may not know, and it’s not surprising if he doesn’t know either, but in fact, the dragons that raised you and Natsu Dragneel were brother and sister.” I widen my eyes in bewilderment. Igneel and Indica were siblings?! What?! Wait, why should I believe this man?! What does he know about my mother?! “Who the hell are you?! What proof do you have of that claim?!” He chuckles again, “I’ve no proof, but since we are blood, you might as well believe me. Your cousin’s brother is my father, so that makes you my aunt, and Natsu Dragneel my Uncle. It’s amazing to finally meet you.” What?! Is he saying that he’s Zeref’s son? But, I thought August was Zeref’s only child! Did he somehow manage to have another? This man also feels weird. He doesn’t feel dead, but he feels like he’s not alive. I don’t know who he is, but I don’t trust a single thing he says. “You’re lying! I don’t believe you! The man you claim to be your father only had one child, and I know it isn’t you!” He raises an eyebrow, smiling, “Oh? And who would this child be?” I sigh, “August! August is the only child that man had! The proof is in his insane amount of power, and loyalty to Zeref!” The man laughs, amused by my ‘claim’. “You do have an interesting story to tell, but you should really focus on telling your own story, Auntie.” Ugh! “Stop calling me that!!” He ignores me and closes his eyes, suddenly appearing above one of the rocks nearby, sitting down on top of it. “I’m sorry if you don’t like the truth, but I do.” I groan, annoyed. This guy is exhausting! Yukino and Sorano and the two exceeds make their way closer to me, ready to take on this guy with me. He smiles down at us, “I’m afraid I’ve been hiding my true purpose of this encounter. Everyone who defies His Majesty shall be subjected to my punishment.” A huge, bright light suddenly emerges from between his hands, blinding us. “May your spirits of pure white into the heavens take flight.” Suddenly, this white glow surrounds me and Sorano, and we immediately fall to the ground. This is not the kind of ‘pain’ I was expecting! The way this light is making me feel! It’s amazing! But I can’t let this stop me…..ugh! Why is it not affecting Yukino? It goes on for so long, that Sorano and I are both lying on the ground, overwhelmed. Lector and Frosch are both with me while Yukino is with Sorano, all of them worried for the both of us. The man explains his magic to us, “My magic is rooted in pleasure, and all those who have tasted it cannot escape its grip. Relentless pleasure sounds like a gift, doesn’t it? But too much is dangerous.” Yukino glares at him, and gets up, opening up the Pisces gate, however, before she can fully open up the gate, he sends out a bunch of white rope looking things that have the same effect on her as me and Sorano. “It seems that you’ve been kept in the dark of ignorance. But I will share the light of pleasure and pain with you.” The white ropes also grab Lector and Frosch as well. Suddenly, someone slices through the white ropes, saving Yukino from their grasp. It’s Kagura! She glares at the man, “All this talk about light and pleasure, and yet still you’re partnered with Zeref!” The man smiles, “I’m afraid you’re mistaken. He’s much more than that to me; my father!” Ugh, did he really have to reveal that? It’s not like it’s something to brag about! “You’re telling me you’re Zeref’s son?” Kagura asks, shocked, and he smiles, “Indeed, my father is Zeref Dragneel. And my name is Larcade Dragneel.” Damn it! I slowly get up, and realize that the magic that surrounds me is technically white magic. I can eat it! I eat up all of the magic surrounding me, shocking this Larcade guy, and stand up slowly, glaring up at him. “I’m pretty sure that was a secret your father only wanted to tell his brother.” The others look completely shocked, recognizing the last name. My comment only further proves its truth. Larcade raises an eyebrow at me, “And yet you know it. Why shouldn’t I brag about being Zeref’s son? He’s an amazing and powerful man, who’s also kind hearted as well.” I sigh, fully standing now and glaring at him. “Here in Ishgar, it’s incriminating to be related to a man as evil as Zeref. He may have been kind hearted once before, but he’s no longer that man. No one would be the same person if they were forced to live as he has.” Larcade chuckles, “You sound as if you feel sorry for him. Tell me, Aunt Candy, do you truly think that my father would even know a damn thing about you if you weren’t his cousin?” I roll my eyes, annoyed. “I don’t think anything of what you told me earlier is true. I have no reason to believe it.” Kagura starts to attack Larcade, fighting with him. She uses her archenemy sword against him, but he stops it with his bare hands. Suddenly, blood spurts from her side, shocking us all. Oh, no! Kagura!! She falls to the ground, unconscious, and blood starts to flow along the ground. He tries to attack us with the pleasure thing again, but I eat it up again, shielding the others from that. “That won’t work on me a second time!” He widens his eyes in shock, “I’m surprised. So that’s how you broke free from my magic earlier.” I narrow my eyes, annoyed with this prick. There’s only two men who are allowed to make me feel that way, and this man DEFINITELY isn’t one of them! “You’re going to have to use brutal force against me, buddy!” He smirks, and suddenly, a large white ball of light sends me flying into the cliff behind me. I fall to the ground, immediately getting back up and running towards him. He and I send a bunch of attacks at each other, but neither of us fall. We’re evenly matched! He suddenly catches me off guard by attacking Yukino, causing me to look at her in worry. Right when I look away, he gut punches me, knocking the air out of my lungs and once again, sending me back into a cliff. I fall down, and this time, it’s harder to get up. Right as I’m about to get back up, Sting comes out of nowhere and attacks Larcade with a kick attack. “Sorry I’m late, you guys!” Yukino smiles excitedly, “Oh! You made it!” I smile as well, relieved. My hero. “What’s going on here?! Looks to me like you’ve been giving my guild members a hard time!” Larcade tries to send those stupid white rope things out at Sting, and I can’t help but laugh. Sting knows exactly what kind of magic that is, and he’s going to do the same thing that I did. Eat it all up. He suddenly glares at Larcade, “What’s your deal? Something pisses me off about you. To make it worse, you smell like Natsu!” He does? I take a whiff, and realize that he actually does smell like Natsu. Sting grows confused, “Just who in the hell are you anyway? Why do you and Natsu have the same scent?” Lector then explains, “Well, according to him, his last name is Dragneel. Just like Natsu.” Yukino then says, “He’s told us a lot of things but I’m not sure we can believe a single word of it. He said that he’s Zeref’s son, and Natsu was Zeref’s younger brother!” Sting seems even more confused, “Huh? That doesn’t make any sense to me. Hold on. It doesn’t add up with the way this guy smells. If that’s true, he and Natsu having the same scent is weird.” I slowly stand up, the pain a little more bearable now as I walk up to stand next to Sting. “I think I know what’s going on here. I may be wrong, but it’s the only way to explain his scent. I’m not even sure he knows.” I gesture to Larcade and he raises an eyebrow at me, a huge smirk on his face, “Oh? What would you have in mind, Candy?” I shake my head, “You’ve been used as nothing but a tool for your entire life, Larcade.” He widens his eyes, and I narrow mine, “Zeref doesn’t give a shit about you. You were originally his failed attempt to revive Natsu. From an early age, you always had a lot of power, and Zeref was still kind hearted then, so he let you live. However you always were an annoying nuisance. He lied to you and told you that you were his son, when in fact, his real son is almost 100 years old now.” Larcade is completely speechless, and he gets defensive, “No! That’s a lie! Don’t you dare say that Zeref isn’t my father!!” I sigh, giving him a sad look, “If I were Zeref’s child, I’d be disappointed, not proud. He is physically incapable of showing anyone any amount of love, or else he’ll kill them. However, you preach about Zeref like he’s been the best father on earth! That’s the biggest giveaway.” Sting nods his head, “That would explain the scent. But damn, that’s harsh man.” Larcade immediately sends a huge attack at me, but Sting blocks it. “You’ve done enough damage to her for one day. Your fight is with me, jackass.” He and Larcade fight for a while until Larcade makes a magic circle around Sting, “Famished soul!” Sting looks really hungry all of a sudden. Larcade sends a large shield at Sting, knocking him back. Sting looks over at Lector, and for some reason he starts trying to EAT HIM! “What the hell has gotten into you?!” Yukino then walks over to Kagura, biting down on her shoulder. What the hell?! She also looks just as hungry as Sting! Kagura then does the same thing, and Lector starts to bite down on Sting's arm. Oh my god! This is stupid. I look at Larcade and he has this triumphant smile on his face, “The world of man is filled with desires. May you devour each other and meet your ruin.” I glare at him, knowing he’s the cause of this. Suddenly, Sting comes to his senses, and stops biting down on Lector. Lector looks like he’s about to cry and he looks up at Sting, “I know you’re dying of starvation old pal. But if this is the only thing that’ll save you.” Sting closes his eyes, “I gotta do what I gotta do!” He punches Lector, knocking the poor guy out! He turns to the rest of us, “Sorry ladies, I don’t have any other choice!” He knocks Kagura and Yukino out, and then turns to me, “Sorry Princess.” He then punches me in the face as well, causing me to fall to the ground as darkness covers my vision.
