------------Narrator's POV------------
Tsuki was sitting in a room with his best friend, Itadori Yuji, and two friends Setsuko Sasaki and Tateshi Iguchi. He was sitting next to Yuji with his finger on a coin with his other club members. The room was playfully tense when Yuji suddenly spoke.
Yuji: "Kokkuri-san! Kokkuri-san! Which creature is the council president just barely weaker than?!"
The pink-haired boy beamed with excitement as he stared at the paper on the desk. Tsuki suddenly felt some heavy presence on him as the coin suddenly began to move.
All: "Ku-ri-o-ne."
They started to laugh as Tsuki shook his head, trying to shake off the weird feeling that came over him all of a sudden. No one seemed to have noticed as they were busy laughing their asses off.
Yuji: "A sea angel can beat him!? What a small fry!"
Suddenly the door swung open and Tsuki let out a yelp as he jumped. Yuji was quick to grab hold of Tsuki's hand to help him calm down, acting as the boy's anchor. Once he knew his best friend and future husband as calmed down, he glared at the person who scared him...which just so happened to be the person they were making fun of.
President: "Occult club!"
Yuji tightly smiled as he moved his hand from Tsuki's hand to his thigh. He gave it a light squeeze, which calmed the boy down.
Yuji: "Hey, Plankton president! What's up?"
The president looked over at Yuji, before looking over at Tsuki. A blush crept on his face and Yuji glared at him. The president cleared his throat before slamming a piece of paper on the table. They looked down at it confused.
President: "As you were previously informed, a research club with no real activities must forfeit its club room. So vacate this room at once!"
He swung his head back and fixed his glasses. Yuji looked over at the president smugly.
Yuji: "You shouldn't underestimate our members, president."
He looked at him confused before Sasaki stood up from her seat, took one of the files from the book selves, and slammed it on the table. The room was silent for a bit before the president spoke up.
President: "What is that?"
Sasaki: "You know about our rugby field being closed off, right?"
President: "Yes, some of the students who fell ill were hospitalized."
Sasaki: "So, you don't find that alarming?! We are talking about tough rugby players here. Truth is, the players said they started to hear mysterious sounds and voices right before they fell ill. That is when we found this newspaper article from thirty years ago."
She opened the book and showed it to the president. Tsuki was the one who found out about this rumor and brought it up to Sasaki.
Sasaki: "It talks about the disappearance of Yoshida-san, who worked with the construction company, and it mentions he was last sighted here at Sugisawa Third High School during construction. Yoshida-san was struggling to make ends meet, so he turned to loan sharks and those organizations were after him. Which means! The whole disaster at the rugby field was caused by the vengeful spirit of Yoshida-san, who is buried there!"
Tsuki hummed and nodded his head. He saw the spirit at the rugby field, so he knew that was true.
President: "No, it was caused by ticks."
