------------Yuki's POV------------

The crisp night air whipped at my face, stinging my tear tracks. My lungs burned, a welcome ache compared to the hollowness in my chest. I pushed through the undergrowth, but ended up tripping, sprawling onto the damp earth. Defeat threatened to engulf me, but suddenly there was a new round that pierced through the stillness of night. A boy's laughter was cruel and echoing. I felt my heart hammering, I lifted my head, to see a boy my age. He had spiky pink hair and crimson-red eyes, that had a glint of enjoyment in them as he smirked at me.

Yuki: "Who are you?"

???: "I could ask you the same question. I mean, you did just stumble here like a fool."

I let out an offended gasp as I sat up rather fast.

Yuki: "I have you know, I have been running for...THREE days!"

I watched as his eyes widened as he looked at me shocked and I think a hint of impressed.

???: "Three days? Did you take any breaks?"

Yuki: "I can't afford to take any breaks!"

I went to stand up, but for some reason, I couldn't move my legs. I looked down at them confused.

Yuki: "Huh...why can't I move my legs?"

???: "Because idiot, you ran for three whole days, taking no breaks. I'm surprised you're not passing out!"

Ah, I must have been doped up on adrenaline then. The moment I fell, my legs finally decided to take a break.

???: "Anyway, who are you?"

Yuki: "Oh, Yuki Mai."

The boy raised a brow when I told him my name.

???: "Snow Dance, that's a stupid name."

I let out another offended gasp. How DARE he! My mother named me that!

Yuki: "Okay and what is your name!? It's probably worse than mine!"

The boy chuckles as he smirks, seeming all smug.

???: "Ryomen Sukuna."

Eh? Two-faced spirit...that's... cool. I pouted as I crossed my arms. He snickered at this.

Sukuna: "Seeing that pout, I'm assuming you thought my name sounded cool."

I let out a huff as I shook my head, denying it.

Yuki: "No! I thought it was an ugly name!"

He snickered as he smirked at me.

Sukuna: "Not as ugly as your face."

I stared at him dumbfounded. Wow, what an insult.

Yuki: "Wow, what an insult. You sure hurt my feelings. What moron told you that was a good insult?"

He looked at me shocked and upset.

Sukuna: "Oh, and what moron told you it was a smart idea to run for three whole days?!"

Yuki: "Myself."

He frowned as he looked at me annoyed.

Sukuna: "I'm not surprised. You should go home, it's dangerous you know."

I huffed and crossed my arms. Like anything can harm me!

Yuki: "I don't have a home to go back to, why else do you think I'm running in the wild?"
