Aurelia quietly packed her suitcase and slipped out of the house before anyone else was awake. It felt like she was running away, but she knew it was the only way to escape the turmoil that had been building up. she made her way to the bus stop, the sun was just beginning to rise, and the world was still quiet and peaceful. She got the bus, and a slight sense of relief wash over her as she sat down on the fairly worn out seat.

The bus pulled away from the stop, Aurelia glanced out the window at the house she had just left behind. She felt a pang of sadness, but she also mixed with a sense of freedom and possibility. She knew that this was the right decision, even if it was difficult. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the window, letting the motion of the bus lull her into a state of calm.

She made it to the apartment, she was struck by how empty and abandoned it felt. The walls were bare, and there were only a few pieces of furniture scattered around the room. The air was stale and dusty, and she could see cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. There was really a twinge of sadness as she looked around, knowing that this place had once been her home -but now, she didn't quite like the space.

She rolled up her sleeves and got to work, dusting and sweeping until the room began to look more like a home and less like an abandoned space. She opened the windows, letting in a fresh breeze and some sunlight and as she worked, she found herself thinking about California, Pixar, Tristan and what she wanted her life to be like.

She lay there on the inflated mattress, her thoughts drifted and her body began to relax. The rhythm of the city outside lulled her into a state of semi-consciousness, and before she knew it, she had drifted off to sleep. She slept deeply, with a sense of peace and renewal, like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

The rumble of her stomach jolted her awake. She groaned, feeling both rested and disoriented. She sat up and blinked a few times, trying to get her bearings. She was starting to starve, since she hadn't eaten anything since the night before. Her stomach growled again, and she decided that it was time to go find something to eat. She stood up, stretching her stiff muscles, and made her way to the bathroom, brushed her teeth and washed her face.

The water felt refreshing, and she took a moment to enjoy the coolness of it on her skin. She brushed her hair and looked at herself in the mirror, noting the dark circles under her eyes. She felt a bit disheveled and disoriented, but she figured a shower would help her feel more like herself. She turned on the hot water and stepped into the shower, letting the steam envelop her.

As the water cascaded down her body, her thoughts turned to her immediate needs. She needed to get some groceries for the few days, she also needs to do something about transportation. She had been relying on public transportation ever since, so she decided she would need to look into buying a car since she had saved a lot already, but that would have to wait until after she had eaten something.

She finished her shower and got dressed, the idea of driving to California took root in her mind. She thought about the open road, the freedom of being able to go wherever she wanted, whenever she wanted. She imagined the feeling of the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. Maybe this was just the adventure she needed, she thought to herself.

She grabbed her wallet which was on the mattress and headed out the door, The morning was already bright with sunshine and the air was crisp and cool, as the birds sang.

she made her way to the nearest cafe, she took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of fresh coffee and pastries. She walked up to the counter and placed her order, smiling at the friendly barista. She sat down at a table by the window and watched the world go by, she couldn't help but think about Tristan, and she wondered if she had made the right decision. she felt the familiar sting of tears in her eyes. She had missed him already, and she couldn't stop thinking about him. She felt a wave of regret, wondering if there was anything she could have done differently. But as she sat there, lost in her thoughts, she knew she couldn't change the past, but she could control her future. She decided that she would not let her sadness hold her back, and she would focus on creating a life that made her happy.

She wraps her fingers around her coffee mug and takes a sip of it. The warm liquid trickled down her throat.

She took a deep breath, feeling the tension in her body begin to dissipate. She closed her eyes and took another sip, focusing on the present moment. She felt the sun on her face, the warmth of the coffee mug in her hands, and the rhythm of her breath. She felt a sense of gratitude for the simple things in life, and she knew that she would be okay.

"Hello Bella"

Aurelia's eyes snapped open, and she looked up to the familiar face smiling down at her.

It was Ryan.
