The living room was quiet, save for the ticking of the clock on the wall. Tristan's defense attorney, James Bryan —JB, sat next to Mrs. Person, who looked pale and drawn. "Mrs. Pers..—Lucy," he said gently constitutionally now addressing her with her government name, "I know this is difficult, but I need to tell you about the autopsy report on Mr. Preston." Lucy swallowed hard, and nodded. "I know that Mr. Preston's death was ruled as a murder," JB continued, "but there are some things about the autopsy that don't add up. I'd like to go over them with you, Tristan was flawed, and that he couldn't have been the one to kill Mr. Preston. The fact that there were no fingerprints of Tristan and any other found on Mr. Preston's body is very suspicious," JB added. "It's highly unlikely that someone could commit a murder and not leave any fingerprints behind. It's almost as if someone was trying to frame Tristan for the crime." Lucy considered this for a moment, and then shook her head, her eyes flashed with anger as she spoke.

"Natasha must be behind all this!, she knew all about his business dealings. She had plenty motives to kill him," her voice was now shaking with emotion. "Can't she just leave us out of it?! She was always after his money, and I wouldn't put it past her to frame Tristan for the murder." JB looked thoughtful. "This is certainly a possibility," he said. "But we have to be sure Lucy, very very sure."

"I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you, this is going to be a difficult case to win. The evidence against Tristan is substantial, and the prosecution is going to throw everything they have at him. We're going to have to fight hard to prove his innocence."

Lucy nodded, her expression grim. "I know it won't be easy," "But I have to do everything I can to help my son. He's innocent, and I won't stop fighting until he's free."

"Well, I think I have an idea." JB announced with a smirk.

Aurelia blinked several times, adjusting to the bright light in the room. The walls were a soft, soothing grey, and the floor was covered in plush, luxurious carpeting. A large window allowed in plenty of natural light, and a vase of fresh flowers sat on a side table. Aurelia could hear the soft sound of birds chirping outside. It was a strange, almost dreamlike place, and she was unsure how she had gotten there.

She felt a strong pain in her head as she shuts her eyes groaning, laying back on the bed, the pain in her head intensified. She felt a dull ache behind her eyes, and a throbbing pain in her temples. She felt a wave of nausea as pressed her hands to her stomach, trying to quell the feeling.

she closed her eyes again, flashes of images - a subway, a dark figure, and a van glinting in the moonlight. She tried to make sense of the images, but her head was spinning and the pain was becoming unbearable.

Her eyes flew open as she hears the doorknob twist. Recognizing the figure in the doorway, It was Ryan.

He looked different somehow. His eyes were cold and calculating, and he was staring at her with an expression of pure hatred or love?. He stepped into the room and shuts the door behind him, locking it with a loud click. "R-Ryan??" She whimpered, her voice shaking. "Where am I?"

"Home."

Aurelia scoffs unbelievably. "What is this Ryan? Why  am I here?!"

"Why?"

Ryan didn't answer her question. Instead, he walked towards her, his movements slow and deliberate. Aurelia felt a surge of fear as he approached.

"You don't understand do you?" Ryan spoke. his voice low and menacing. "I did this for us. I did this because I love you." Aurelia's heart was racing and she felt sick with fear. "What? I don't love you, Ryan," she said, her voice shaking.

"Please let me go." She cried.

"No," Ryan retorted, his eyes narrowing. "You're not going anywhere. You're staying here with me until the day you fall in love with me." Aurelia felt a surge of panic. "I will never love you Ryan!"

Ryan gave her a satisfying smile. "We'll see about that Bella."

Aurelia swallowed hard, She knew she had to find her way quick out of this calamity.
