My hero

The finale

Wednesday took one last look at her friends and her lover, enid the love of her life "I love you all, shall we meet again in another time"

Wednesday said and with that she was gone, and ran to the part where the sky has split in two pieces

There was a powerful last looking something shooting out from the sky, it was right in front of her "how do I stop this?"

She asked and the only thing came to her mind was that, ran around it and consume it's power, Wednesday knew that this will kill her

But she also knew that she needs to do this to save her world, so the goth began to run in circles, first she felt nothing

After a few minutes she began to feel like her bones were melting, her suit was falling apart, her mask was in two pieces

The symbol on her chest was melted and fallen on the ground, Wednesday started to feel herself slowly falling apart

She felt like she was crushed to death, a tear fell from her eye, which she let it fall, Wednesday knew soon it will end and she will be at peace

The only reason she kept going was Enid, she didn't want her lover to get hurt or worse die, so Wednesday kept going on

Then she saw something from the corner of her eye, a portal opened and someone ran out of it, it was Charlotte  her daughter

The kid tackled Wednesday down "what are you doing here!?" Wednesday asked her daughter who just smiled

"I don't want to live a life without you" Charlotte said and then put her hands on the goths chest, and began to take away her speed temporarily

"No! Charlotte! Don't!" As much as Wednesday would love to be with Enid, she didn't want her kid die because of her

Like david did, but it was too late Charlotte had took her powers and now she was faster than she had ever been in her life

"I'm sorry mom, but I'm doing this for our family" Charlotte said and stood up, before Wednesday could say anything

The girl began to run around the laser, tears formed in Wednesday's eye as she watched her daughter slowly dying

She was on her knees as she watched, Charlotte felt happiness, at least she gets to know her mother even though she dies like this

The younger girls suit began to fall apart, and they all turned to dust, Charlotte began to feel her left arm starting to disappear

But she kept going as she consumed the power of that thing, it began to slowly disappear, with Charlotte

"I love you mom" that was the last thing the girl said before she disappeared completely, the only thing left of her was

Her symbol that was on her chest, the goth went to pick it up, tears falling from her eye, and on the piece of her symbol

She was sitting on her heels, and watched as the sky begun to clear up
"Why?" Wednesday asked and broke down in tears

She couldn't stop crying, she lost both of her kids, and it was all her fault, she stayed there and didn't move for minutes

When Enid saw the sky clearing up, she knew Wednesday was gone, she broke down in tears, Bianca went next to her and held her as she cried

"I want to see where she died" the blonde said and stood up, Xavier drove them there

And the first thing they saw, was a girl sitting on her heels, her suit tore apart and something was in her hands

Enid got out of the car and saw it was her lover, she immediately went and hugged her, well basically tackled her down

With happy tears falling from her eyes, she layed her head on Wednesday's chest and listened to her heartbeat

After minutes she pulled away and looked into the goths eyes "how?" That was the only thing Enid asked her voice is trembling

"Charlotte sacrificed her life to save me" Wednesday said and wiped away her tears, and pulled her mask off, well what was left of it

Enid suddenly felt like something in her broke, but she was also happy that Wednesday was alive, she pulled her into another hug

"At least we get to raise them together  baby" Wednesday smiled at the thought that she can meet her kids and be with them

And raise them together with the love of her life, they stood up and got back to the car and Xavier drove them home

𝘛𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳

Enid and Wednesday had been married for five years now and had their first child, david

Every year they went out to the place where Charlotte died and put flowers there and talked with her, even though didn't know if she can hear them or not

David was four years old and this is the first time they brought him with them "mommy where are we going?"

He asked and looked at Wednesday "somewhere baby where a good friend of mine died to save my life" the goth said with a forced smile

Even after ten year she still blamed herself for Charlotte's death "was it a good friend?" Enid let out a breathy laugh

"She was" the goth said and smiled at the boy who nodded "then why are you sad? She saved your life that's a good thing, the superheroes do that too mommy"

David said with a big grin on his face "well she definitely was a superhero" Enid said and a tear fell from her eye, she let it fall on her cheek

The rest of the walk was quiet, well except David telling them about superheroes and how cool they are

He was obsessed with the flash, not knowing his powers yet, it was ironic Wednesday smiled as the boy held her hand

On the other side Enid held her hand, as they walked, Wednesday looked up at the sky "thank you" she whispered

Enid heard it and smiled at her lover, they finally reached the spot where Charlotte has died, and they put some flowers there like usual

And talked with her for hours, then Enid got a message on her phone, an email she opened it "baby! I'm pregnant!"

Enid exclaimed Wednesday pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek, they were both very happy about it, then they continued staying there cuddled up

And watching the sunset, Wednesday finally gets to raise her kids without any problems, after a few years she gave up being a superhero

And concentrated on her family, Enid gave up being a superhero for a long time before they had David, but Wednesday will teach her kids how to use their powers when the time comes

And they can love happily, together as a family, finally some peace and quiet  for themselves, with raising their kids  𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳..
