The future

They talked all night until enid decided to go and sleep david slept on the couch and the next morning they brought him to their base

They needed to send him back to his timeline, he can cause really big trouble just by telling something accidentally to them

"Well I can't really go back" he said and Wednesday looked at him confused "why?" Ajax asked and looked at him

"Well somehow I can't run that fast to go back to my time" david said and the goth girl sighed, and walked out Enid followed her

"We need to send him back" the smaller girl said and Enid stood next to her "why? He's our son Wednesday"
The blonde girl said

"I know, but still he can step on a butterfly or something and the future will change Enid we can't risk that"
The goth girl explained

"Yes but we could still spend some time with him, and after what he said that you weren't even there for him"
Enid began saying but Wednesday cut her off

"I know what he said, I don't know what will happen to me " Wednesday said and Enid nodded and they both walked back to the base

"David can I talk to you?" Wednesday asked and he smiled and nodded, they walked back outside "what's up mom?" He asked with a smile

"What will happen to me in the future?" Wednesday asked and he was hesitant a bit "I need to know" the goth girl said and he nodded

Then pulled out his phone and showed Wednesday an article
'𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵'𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴'

"How long?" Wednesday asked and he showed her another article '𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 30 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨'

"You never came back" he said in a sad tone, Wednesday couldn't help but stare at him "I missed your whole childhood, I missed everything"

Wednesday felt her eyes tearing up, and he just looked at his mother not knowing what to say or do "guys come back we might have a solution"
Ajax said and Wednesday wiped her tears away

They walked back to the base, and saw that they were doing something
"This device with increas your speed" Xavier said and smiled, then gave it to him

"On second thought, he could stay for a while" Wednesday said and all of them looked at her confused "I could teach him how to use his powers" the goth girl said and Enid smiled

"What about the timeline?" Ajax asked and looked confused "we'll be careful" Wednesday said and her son looked at her smiling "thank you" he said and Wednesday gave him a light smile 

"Want to race?" He asked and had a big smile on his face "I could beat you anytime" the goth girl said and he laughed, both of them suited up

"Alright ready, set go!" Ajax said and turned the timer on, both of them began running, Wednesday decided to go slow on him at first

But then he started to getting ahead of the goth girl, so Wednesday sped up and easily left him behind, and she easily won the race

Enid, Wednesday and David decided to spend the day together and go home to watch a movie or just be together as long as they can
