I promise

Wednesday and daniel was talking in the kitchen while eating breakfast "so what's up with that speedster" the goth asked and daniel sighed

"I don't know mom, he's fast and strong, stronger than alex was I don't know how to defeat him" daniel said and Wednesday looked at him

"We travel to your time and I will help" Wednesday said and daniel nodded with a soft smile, Enid walked into the kitchen with a smile on her face

"I heard you two talking, when do you leave?" Enid asked and Wednesday shurgged, and walked over to hug her lover

"Probably today" Wednesday said and Enid nodded, she was worried that something might not go as planned but accepted that this needs to be done

"Get your sister up, we leave in ten" Wednesday said and daniel nodded and went to wake up Charlotte, few seconds later the girl was standing in front of her

Wednesday leaned over and kissed Enid, they said goodbye and that was it they were gone, Wednesday was running in front of them

Because she's faster than them, and the portal opened seconds later they were in the future, Wednesday stopped to look around

The people there began to take pictures "look! Impulse!" They said and cheered her everyone thought she was back

"Let's go home" Charlotte said and they led her to Enid's apartment where the blonde girl was standing in the kitchen cooking something

"Kids! You're back!" She said and turned around with the pot in her hand when she saw Wednesday she dropped everything

And ran over to her "you're back! I missed you so much!" She said and Wednesday hugged her back "not exactly, I'm from the past I came here to help"

She explained and Enid's smile dropped "it's been so long" she said and Wednesday nodded with a smile "then let's get to work"

Daniel said and they began to work on this mysterious man who cannot be defeated "look there he is!" Charlotte said and pointed out the window

"Impulse! Come and fight me!" He said, Wednesday didn't hold back she ran out of the apartment and stood right in front of him

"Who are you?" She asked and the man laughed "I'm speed demon" he said and Wednesday tried not to laugh at his face

"That's probably the lamest name I have ever heard in my entire life" she said, and the man got angry and the fight began

He started running, and it was true he was really fast, faster than Wednesday ran up on the buildings side

He broke the windows on it, then ran back down and punched Wednesday in the stomach then in her back and she fell on the ground

"What the hell?" She asked then the man began to phase his arm "you are pathetic!" Before he could kill impulse Daniel tackled him down

"You don't lay hands on my mother! Ever again!" He said and started punching him in the face, with all the strength he had

But then speed demon showed his hand through the boys chest, Daniel fell on the ground, with blood pouring out of his mouth

Wednesday hurried to his side "I'm sorry" he said but his mother just shook her head "you didn't do anything wrong" she said and picked him up

And brought him back to the apartment, and layed him down on the couch "Wednesday do something!" Edith yelled at her

"I can't do anything Enid!" She said and turned to look at her lover "it's okay mom just promise you will defeat him" Daniel said

And Wednesday kneeled down next to him with tears in her eyes "I promise" she said and held his hand, the boy smiled

Then he closed his eyes enid broke down in tears, Charlotte ran away Wednesday  just held his hand not wanting to let him go
