CHAPTER 6

Astreus Lynx Perveus’s POV

I’m currently sitting on the couch in his living room while waiting for him to come down, we are going to where their shooting will be held.

While sitting peacefully and scrolling on the cellphone, suddenly someone called and when i saw that the caller was 'Director G', I immediately answered.

“Hi Lynx~" Sumilay ang ngiwi sa labi ko dahil sa tono ng pagsasalita n’ya, it’s flirty and seductive.

I’m not numb enough to not notice that this man is interested in me, if he wasn’t the one who runs the modeling industry that my boss works for, i might have snubbed him.

“Goodmorning, Director." I didn't make it obvious that i just forced my greeting to him, i made it formal and sincere.

“Where’s your boss?" He asked and i was about to answer when i saw him walking towards me.

“He’s here Director, do you want to talk to him?” I asked and he said yes.

“Sir there’s a phone call for you, it’s the Director" I said and hand him the phone, he took it without saying anything and they started talking.

He signaled me to go to the car so we walked out while they were still talking, it seems they were talking about other models.

“I sent something to your email, it’s information from a former model in the xxx model industry” I heard the director say on the other line.

Boss got on the passenger seat while i went to the driver’s seat and started to turn on the engine.

“I did see it” The boss answered, the reason why he is the one withholding information about those who apply as models and the former because he is checking if they are appropriate because the boss is good at judging, especially the body.

“What do you think? Who can we take?" Asked the director on the other line, the boss was silent for a moment before speaking.

“Out of those ten people, i only chose one” Boss said, isn’t he too picky?

“Haha i expected that, but i expected more that you would choose two of maybe three” The director replied while laughing, while i was driving quietly to the venue.

“He is beautiful and good at taking care of his body, and another thing is that his face is perfect for the next shoot" The boss said and his voice was even more serious than before, as if he was imagining the look of the person he’s talking about.

“Who are you referring to?" Tanong ni Director na nagtataka.

“Asta Liberal, he used to be a model in the xxx industry right? I also read atricles about him and i read a lot of impossible things that should happen” Seryosong ika n’ya habang may tinitignan sa cellphone n’ya.

“Ah that boy, there was an issue about him a few years ago and his departure from the industry made waves throughout Europe. And just recently there was a video spread that didn’t go viral but it was about him because he hurt his former partner in that industry— are you sure about him Darius?” Bahagya akong nagulat sa sinabi ni Director kaya napatingin ako sa direction ni boss sa salamin at nagulat ako dahil nakangisi s’ya ng maliit.

“Yeah, don’t worry i will be the one to interview him" Usal ni boss, binalik ko ang paningin sa kalsada.

“Alright, where are you now?” Tanong ng Director.

“On the way" Simpleng sagot ni boss.

Ilang oras pa silang nagusap tungkol sa kompanya at sa modeling habang ako ay tahimik lang nagmamaneho.

Sana hindi tumawag si Rachelle.

After a while we arrived at the venue and the others were there with the cameras ready, i got out of the car and opened the door for the boss.

“Sir Lynx, boss Damon goodmorning, have you two had breakfast yet? Ate Joana cooked food for the models who will come, there are also newbies” Saad ng secretary ni Director G, si Maris.

“I’m good, what about you secretary Lynx?” Boss asked me but i just shook my head, i wasn’t hungry because i was feeling sleepy.

“You look tired sir Lynx, are you sleep deprived?” Tanong ni Maris pero ngumiti lamang ako dahil ayoko naman na matulog hanggat walang permiso ni boss, ayokong mapagalitan.

“No don’t worry, i’m fi—”

“Go ahead and rest, i noticed a while ago that you lack sleep, rest first in the tent and they will wake you up when necessary” Seryosong usal ng boss ko bago ito maglakad patungo sa mga magma-make up.

“Sige na sir Lynx mag pahinga kana, pero sigurado ka bang hindi ka kakain? Marami pang pagkain dun" Tanong n’ya kaya nginitian ko s’ya at umiling, sinamahan n’ya naman ako sa tent at humiga alo sa isang maliit na kama na para lang sa isang tao.

I didn’t hesitate to lie down and immediately my eyes fell, i must’ve been too tired.

Damn.. i really hate sex until dawn.
