Astreus Lynx Perveus’s POV

I woke up when I heard my phone rang, and I picked it up.

“Hello” I froze and my forehead furrowed when I heard a voice of a little boy.

“Who’s this?" I asked in confusion before looking into the caller but my eyes widened in pure horror when i’m not even in a phone call.

“Astreus..” My eyes widen and I feel like i’m stoned in my bed, I can’t move and my cellphone remains next to my ear.

No one’s calling me at my first name and.. i didn’t tell anyone about this, who’s this.

“I said who’s this?! Stop messing with me kid! If this is one of your st*pid prank I will have to call a—” He cut me off just by giggling.

“Astreus.. astreus.. astreus” He keep calling my name while slowly laughing like crazy and maniacally.

“Astreus.. astreus... as.. treus” My fear seemed to lessen a little when I heard his soft voice that slowly turned into sobs.

“Alistair.. don’t cry..” I was in pure shocked as I keep talking but i’m sound like a little boy too, how can I sound like a kid?! Is this a dream?

Hindi ako yung nagsasalita pero pakiramdam ko bibig ko ang gumagalaw.

“B-but.. i can’t help it, i’m so guilty Astreus.. i should’ve comeback and be with you while you’re in coma, s-sorry..” Napatulala na lamang ako sa kisame nang maramdaman ko ang sarili ko na umiiyak kahit hindi naman talaga ako naiiyak.

Pero may part sa’kin na nasasaktan na hindi ko alam kung bakit.

“Alistair..” I keep calling that name but I don’t know who is that.

Kusa na lamang pumikit ang mga mata ko habang patuloy parin na umiiyak, hindi ko alam kung sino ang tinutukoy ng sarili ko na Alistair.

I slowly opened my eyes again and I saw the same ceiling but now I can move my whole body, maybe it was a nightmare?

Dahan dahan akong umupo at napadaing nang bigla kumirot ang ulo ko, saglit lang ang kirot pero nakatayo parin ako.

Dahan dahan akong naglakad palabas hanggang sa mawala ang kirot ng ulo ko, at naisipan kong libutin ang bahay.

The wall is full of beautiful paintings and there’s a picture frame too every vase.

I check every picture frame pero puro lang iyon picture kasama ang pamilya n’ya o hindi kaya naman kapatid n’ya.

I stare at her sister for a second because she really looks familiar to me, i heard they’re not that close maybe because president’s not living with them.

I walk again and saw a picture frame, i pick it up but it’s just a ring, that similar to my... promise ring.

Tinitigan ko itong mabuti at nang masiguro kong kapareho nga ng singsing ko ay napaatras ako at naibagsak ang picture pero napakunot ang noo ko dahil may nakasulat sa likod.

Muli kong dinampot ang picture frame at nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa nabasa, hindi alintana kung gaano ka-cheesy ng pagkakasulat pero halata namang handwriting ito ng bata.

Pero ang mas ikinagulat ko ay kaparehong numero ang nakalagay rito at doon sa kwintas na nakita ko sa sasakyan ni president at may kasamang pangalan na hindi ko inaasahan.

‘I love Astreus so much, even if we part ways, our paths will continue to meet because we were childhood sweethearts’

Muli akong nagulat dahil bigla na lamang tumulo ang luha ko nang hindi ko nalalaman kaya kaagad ko itong pinunasan at napatitig sa picture.

I was very surprised and confused because I had no idea that the president’s name was alistair, because I wasn’t interested in knowing his full name before.

Is he the Alistair I kept seeing in my dreams?

I want to know more..
