Astreus Lynx Perveus’s POV

“KUYA!!” Tila napawi lahat ng pagaalala, takot at pagod ko nang salubungin ako ng kapatid ko ng isang matamis na ngiti na tila ba walang sakit na nararamdaman.

“Ohmy.. you’re awake, thanks God" I run to her and immediately hug her gently and softly.

“Kuya imissyousomuch!” She said that made me smile widely, i’m so happy that she’s okay.

“Oh i’m glad you’re here” I stand up when I heard the doctor.

“Good day mr. Véres, as you can see her wounds are still fresh so we still need to treat her and she’s still under observation kaya hindi muna namin s’ya idi-discharge” Wika n’ya at lumapit sa kapatid ko bago n’ya abutan ng candy.

“Don’t worry kapag nakita naming maayos na s’ya ay palalabasin na namin s’ya kaagad” The doctor said before excusing himself.

“Are you his boss?” I glance at Tyrone and I glance to the president.

“Yes, i am" He answered.

“I see, please don’t give him a hard time” I winced and was about to kick him.

“Yeah i’m not giving him a hard time, I know what he’s been through and i’m not pushing him that much” The boss said while holding my arm to stop me from attacking my friend.

“Hi kuya pogi” We all glance at my sister who’s eating a donut now so I glance to the president but he’s staring at my sister.

“Thankyou po” Nakangiting sabi ng kapatid ko na kinangiti ko rin, I thought them to be well-mannered and kind.

“What an angel” I heard the president say with his usual tone, blank and serious yet sincere.

“Kuya where is kuya Tristan po?" She asked while chewing, i glance at my friends.

“Don’t worry we already inform Gray, they will be here a minute" They said so I nod.

Maya maya pa ay may nagbukas ng pintuan kaya napatingin ako doon at napangiti ako lalo nang makita si Tristan.

“Isha!!! Mabuti naman at ayos ka— Ehhhhh?? Bakit kumakain ka kaagad ng donut? Hindi mo manlang ako hinintay” Nakasimangot na sabi n’ya at tumakbo aa kinaroroonan ni Trisha at hindi manlang kami pinansin.

“Eh kasi naman ang tagal mo e” Sambit naman ni Trisha at akmang kukuha pa ng isang donut pero inagaw ni Tristan ang lalagyan.

“Wala ka talagang balak tirahan ako e, tignan mo nga tatlo na lang ang natira tapos gusto mo pang kumuha ng isa" Nakasimangot na ani n’ya kaya napakamot na lamang ako sa ulo.

“They surely like those so much" I heard the president said so I nod and sighs heavily.

I heard a phone ringing and it was from Darius so he said that he’s gonna take that for a minute before going out.

“Tama na yan mga bata, h’wag na kayo mag talo” Sabi ko sa kanila at parehong ginulo ang buhok nila.

“Kuya nakarami naman na si Trisha kaya saakin nalang ‘to diba, kanina pa s’ya kumakain hindi nga ako hinintay” Wika ni Tristan kaya napatawa ako at pinaliwanag sa kanilang dalawa ang dapat na gawin.

“Okay pero gusto ko pa e” Napabuntong hininga ako sa sinabi ni Trisha, pero hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko dahil gusto ko maging fair sa kanila pareho.

Ayoko na paglaki nila ay masasabi nilang may favoritism ako, kaya gusto ko fair ako sa kanilang dalawa pero minsan ang sakit din sa ulo.

I’m also wondering why is the president taking too long for just a one call? Usually he would already drop the call is it isn’t something important or necessary.

Yung mga kaibigan ko naman ay may mga sariling pero ang sabi ko sa kanila ay umuwi na muna sila at mag pahinga dahil mukha mga kulang sila sa tulog.

“Are you sure? Tingin mo kaya mo na?” Tanong nila na kinatango ko naman at ngumiti, maya maya lang ay umalis na sila pagtapos ng maiksing paguusap.

I will just call my auntie to take care of them, i will just pay her dahil s’ya lang ang mapagkakatiwalaan ko sa mga kapatid ko ngayon.

Maya maya lang ay bumukas ang pinto kaya nilingon ko iyon at doon nga pumasok si president na may dalang dalawang box ng mini donut bat kinagulat ko.

“Here, just stop fighting because your brother is having a headache” He said kaya sinaway ko s’ya dahil baka anong isipin ng mga kapatid ko.

“Opo kuya, salamat po" Sabay na sabi nila habang nakangiti kaya napatitig ako sa kanilang dalawa, they are eating like an actual kid and that’s so cute.

“Why did you buy them that much? Trisha’s still not okay so too much sugar is bad for her health" I said with a worried expression.

“I know, that’s why i didn’t let them put a powdered sugar in her donut and they use a chocolate that are not sugary it’s more on a bitter taste” He said that surprise me, he’s prepared huh.

“I asked the doctor first if she can eat a donut and he said yes but not too much, then he recommend the bitter flavor and I was worried that she might not like it but the doctor said that it will taste sweet because she ate the candy earlier and that’s her 4th times because they’re maintaining her sugar” He explained, i’m speechless because he know more than me.

“It is delicious?” I stare at the president when he approach my sister and he pat both of their head while asking them.

“Yes po! Thankyou po sa donut” Magalang na sabi nilang dalawa na kinangiti ko.

“Well done, i have something for you too” Nabaling naman ang tingin ko kay president at hindi ko manlang napansin na may paper bag pa pala s’yang hawak.

Iniabot n’ya sa’kin yun and when I open it my mouth start to watery when I saw a sushi, baked sushi and grilled salmon and raw tuna.

“Here, eat up” He also give me a milk tea and i accept it immediately because this is my favorite.

“How about you? I can’t eat all of this” I said, he glance at my siblings before glancing back at me and start caressing my cheek down to my neck.

“Liar.. of course you can, and don’t worry about me your health is more important and.." His touch becoming more rough and intense but it’s not hurt.

“You're not worth eating soon if your body would drop off” He added in a low voice before letting me go and start talking to my siblings as if nothing happened, while me.. i'm frozen in shocked trying to process what he just said.

Did he just said that he’s gonna eat me soon?!?!
