Astreus Lynx Perveus’s POV
Only silence prevailed between the two of us and no one tried to speak, I can feel the awkwardness but thankfully hiis wife’s car stopped in front of the huge house.
“Is this your parents house sir?" I asked while staring at the mansion, I don’t think it’s right to call it a mansion because it looks like a palace.
“It is, let’s go” He got out of the car and I followed him, his voice was not the same as before because it was colder now.
His wife came to him and immediately grabbed his arm and wrapped around him, i can feel the tension. (٥↼_↼)
I just followed them behind until we got inside, it was very cold inside and the atmosphere was light while the two of them were the weight of their tension.
“They are here” I was slightly taken aback by that voice, so charming and tender.
“Have a sit" A husband and wife spoke and their voices were both strong and passionate, whose parent is this?
Dalawang mag-asawa ang narito at isa sa kanila ay anak ng isang couple, i can’t tell sa itsura nila pero parehas na mas bata ang dalawang babae at yung dalawang lalaki naman.

They both sat down and I stood on the side of the sofa they were sitting on, I don’t know why I have to be here but I can only say one thing, I don’t want to be here.
“Tricia already told you what we need right? We need an heir from you Damon” Napatingin ako kay president dahil dun at kita ko ang paglukot ng mukha n’ya.
“I will not agree” Sagot naman ng asawa n’ya at mukhang alam ko na kung sino ang mga magulang nila rito.
“What do you think you’re saying?!” Her mother asked angrily.
“Isn’t it enough that we both agreed to get married on paper? That’s enough to ruin our life! You only think about your company, pwedeng kami naman intindihin n’yo? Mom, dad.. uncle, auntie” Naaawa ako sa sitwasyon nilang pareho pero ano bang magagawa ko rito, problema nila ‘yan at wala akong karapatang mangealam.
“Tricia! You don’t know what you’re talking about, we’re doing all of this so the company doesn’t go bankrupt” Her mother said irritably.
“Naba-bankrupt ang kompanya that’s because you can’t do a proper investment!! Look at Damon’s company, it’s rising even if he’s the only one doing it, I can’t believe this! Apat na kayong nagtataguyod sa mga kompanya n’yo and it’s just going to collapse? That’s because of your investment” Both their parents were surprised and so was the president.
“How dare you—” The president cut them off.
“She’s right, what kind of investment are you doing? Mom, Dad, if you don’t know how to run a company, you’re just wasting my shares.. if you want an heir to that company, use my sister, don’t embarrass us both, we’re done here, I will file a divorce later, I still have a lot to take care of” He said seriously and stood up but his parents too.
“Stop! You’re disobeying us now huh? Damon" Masama silang tinitigan ni President na kinaatras nila bahagya.
“Y-you!!!” Nanggagalaiting sigaw ng tatay n’ya.
“Yow, what’s happening here?” Napalingon kaming lahat sa pintuan dahil may bigla na lamang nagsalita, lima silang naglalakad palapit sa kinaroroonan namin.
Dalawang babae at tatlong lalaki, ang isa ay may katandaan na pero mukhang malakas pa.
“I heard that you need an heir? I haven’t even died yet” The oldman said.
“Grandpa” Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni president, this is his grandpa? Bruh.
“Ohh.. my grandson, how’s the company? I have news from mr. G, he said you are good at handling a company, he was amazed because at such an age you can run your company well. The way you invest is impressive son. Good job" Nakangiting papuri sa kan’ya ng lolo n’ya.
“You can go now, i know you’re busy" Bumuntong hininga si president bago naglakad paalis at hindi manlang nililingon ang mga magulang n’ya.
“Damon!! Comeback here, we’re not done talking!!” His father yelled.
“Hushh!! That’s enough, leave the kid alone" Rinig kong sabi ng matanda, bago kami tuluyang lumabas ay lumingon ako sa dalawang babae.
One of them looks like the president, is she his sister? She looks.. familiar.
“Secretary Lynx, let’s go” I quickly left the house and approached the president, we both got into the car and left.
He took out his cellphone and call someone, nabosesan ko kaagad ang tinawagan n’ya nang sumagot iyon— It’s his secretary.
“Call my attorney, he already know what to do just tell him give Tricia what needs to be given” He command and hang up the phone.
“Secretary lynx, take me home” I was taken aback by what he said but immediately turned around to take him home.
I don’t know if i’m just going crazy but somehow the way he said that was different for me.
I must be insane.
