Third Person's POV

The grandmother stared at the tired faces of the children munching tiredly on their snacks. The excitement had been waned down by the tiredness of night.

“Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem because there was no space in the inns. The inns are what we now call hotels. While a manger is where they keep the animals”, the grandmother narrated with a tired smile.

“Wow! I can not imagine being born where animals stay. That's disgusting but Jesus is awesome!”, Rowan exclaimed in awe.

“I know right? I'm so glad to have Jesus in my life”, Hannah added with a thankful gaze in her eyes.

“Just to get everything straight, Jesus' birth was prophesied by Prophet Isaiah about 700 years before Jesus was actually born. Jesus was conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit. Then, when Jesus was to be born, He was born in a manger. Is that right, Nana?”, Josiah asked with a proud smile on his face on realizing that he actually remembered the key points of the story of the birth of the world's savior.

“That's right if you put it that way”, the elderly woman smiled and nodded in his direction. “That's the amazing story behind Christmas”, she ended with a yawn and the little children applauded and cheered despite their fatigue.

“Oh My Gosh! That's an amazing story. I love Jesus so much! And I'll love to celebrate Jesus' birth in an extra special way every year during Christmas!”, Arabella exclaimed with a bright smile sporting on her face.

“I certainly agree with you on that, Ara. I can't wait to share the story behind Christmas with anyone and everyone”, Josiah commented in excitement and the other children agreed wholeheartedly with him and Arabella.

“Thank you for telling us the story behind Christmas, Nana. Now, we have a reason to always want to celebrate Christmas”, Carlos appreciated the elderly woman with a hug.

“You're welcome, Carlos”, she replied and returned the hug.

“Now, off to bed you go. Good night kids”, she said softly as the children stood up one by one to hug her and wish her a good night before they left the living room for their rooms.

The elderly woman stayed rooted in her seat as her eyes say the children off. She was glad that the children now have a reason to celebrate Christmas other than the food and fun.

“Thank you Abba for today. I'm so glad the children understand the story behind Christmas. I'm happy that they now have a true reason to celebrate Christmas. I'm glad that you have revealed your purest intentions to them. I pray that they'll forever remember why the season of Christmas is important and they'll never forget to always celebrate your birth. Amen!”
