*backstage*
Everyone backstage is seen cheering and hugging Michael after his match against Colby. Many never thought he would be this great of a wrestler, but Michael proved them wrong. He showed strength, speed, skill, and charisma, many things that he has as a person.
Soon, Hunter and Steph arrived as they hugged their son, proud of his first match after so many years.
Paul: That was awesome, kid. You showed you still got it.
Stephanie: We're so proud of you.
Michael: Thanks, guys. *breaks the hug* I really wanted to show that I can still do it, and look at me now.
Paul: Guess the trend on Twitter is gonna be big.
Michael: Yep.
Soon, Ashley (Charlotte) approached him.
Ashley: But, why the US Title? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still a Great Title to Carry, but all of us thought you're going after the World Title.
Michael: I don't feel like I'm ready for it yet. Many another year or two. Plus, I have a soft spot for the US Title as it was the one mom debut when she was GM of Smackdown.
Stephanie: It's true. He really loved the Title when he was younger. Even more than the WWE Championship at the time.
Joe (Roman): That's understandable. Though, honestly, I'm surprised you don't feel ready for a world title.
Michael: Like, yeah. I'm popular since ten years, but...I feel like I have much more to show. I made the Bad Gimmick famous, but it wouldn't be long until I need to change my character. I can't be Bad for much longer.
Mercedes (Sasha): Wow. That's really humbling and interesting to think about.
Matthew (Zack): But guys like Cena, your dad, Taker, Kane, and others didn't have changes to their gimmicks.
Michael: Because they're established. I don't feel like I established myself yet. Sure, I'm the most unique McMahon out of everyone in my family, a Rebel, I kidnap and held people hostage, and I'm went from good to great in the ring...but I don't have rivalries to establish me, yet.
Colby: Well, we could do one since we've been feuding since you returned. I'm happy to put you over.
Michael: Thanks, Colbs. But, we'll see.
Soon, while everyone was talking to Michael, Mark (Taker) spoke with Paul away from the others.
Mark: Mike really hasn't change. He's still humble and kind.
Paul: Yeah. Though, I don't like that he doesn't see himself as established, yet I see his point.
Mark: He's just starting, so you can't fault him for feeling that.
Paul: True. Though...I plan on having him main event Mania.
Mark: I think that's a great idea. Give him a shot at the Royal Rumble and he's set.
Paul: We'll see. But at the meantime, we're gonna see if Mike pulls off a classic against Cena.
