Abigail {The Story Of A Witch}

The Coronation

"We lament the passing of King Orion, our magnificent king, who died yesterday. We cannot question his passing, though, for the gods are the ones who know best. May the gods keep an eye on his soul. Our late king died without leaving a child, but the gods did give him a great gift which is the only witch in the world. With great gratitude, I would like to welcome the witch to come here up here and make her vow before I crown her Queen of North Kadi,"
Everyone waited eagerly for Abigail. 

A short while later, with the coronation taking place outside the castle, Abigail strolled quietly to the compound. She wore the most expensive robe owned by King Orion. She approached the front of the group and observed them. 

"Greetings everyone. I know many of you here barely know me but I'm Abigail, the witch who everyone seems to be talking about. King Orion treated me like a daughter, and as our elder here declared I was the one who was closest to him." She remarked, "It gives me great pleasure to be your Queen and to rule a great village like North Kadi. Together, we would rule, and I would ensure that we became the greatest village in Don Ridden. I would also raise an army to defend our village so no one would harm us ever again." To her applause, everyone responded.

The man picked up the crown and raised it as Abigail turned to face him and went to her knees.

"With the power bestowed upon me by the gods of North Kadi, I now pronounce you Queen of North Kadi," he declared and put the crown on her head as everyone started to applaud her heartily

Following the coronation, Queen Kira approached Abigail and hugged her, saying, "I am happy for you, Abi." Says Queen Kira, 

Abigail grinned and replied, "Thank you, Mother. I learned from the greatest." 

"And I'm honoured to have taught you all you needed to know child," remarked Queen Kira with a smile, to which Abigail returned the smile. 

"I'm really going to miss you, I going to miss Ridden South," Abigail said.

"Oh dear child, keep in mind that it's your village as well, so feel free to visit whenever you choose." 

"Thanks. It's just having you and Commander Anne by my side always makes me feel confident, I feel safer around you both," Abigail replied. 

"You are the strongest woman on earth, Abigail, a sorceress who can manage any situation. Look how you handled that woman in Ridden South, You are invincible." 

"Thank you My Queen," grinned Abigail. 

"You're welcome, Queen Abigail," said Queen Kira as they both grinned.

"You know there are more of them coming for you, and that which happened back in Ridden South alone is convincing that there are lots of powerful forces on earth," Queen Kira stated after a period of silence. "What are you planning to do about these forces,"

"I am going to fight and defeat them," Abigail stated with a serious look while Queen Kira stood where she was grinning at Abigail's confidence.
