•Chapter 13

26 November

"Okay we're leaving now!" Felix shouted to Minho, informing him of Hyunjins and his departure. Felix promised Hyunjin he would take him to the new puppy cafe as a form of an apology even though Hyunjin had already forgiven him.

It was a bit warmer today than the past few days. It wasn't raining as heavily, and the sun was slightly peaking through the clouds. It felt like a lovely late autumn day.

Minho made sure to lock the door after the two left, as he heard his phone vibrate.

A couple of hours later Minho paused the tv. He was watching My demon as it gained his interest when Seungmin and Hyunjin were watching it a few days ago.

The weather got colder and the rain was heavier. The wind was blowing up all sorts of leaves. The sky was dark and full with mist.

It was nearing 5pm. He had a light lunch earlier, hence he felt hungry. He wanted to eat something warm, but he didnt want to cook in the kitchen for a long time. He thought ramen was a quick and delicious dish to whip up in a few minutes.

Minho walked to the kitchen and took out ramen from his ramen stash. He got the kimchi out of the fridge and got the ingredients needed and nessacary items for the ramen. As he was pouring the delicious and warm broth into his bowl, his phone rang. He walked towards his phone, placed on the microwave, and saw Felix was calling him. He accepted the call and put it close to his ear. Sighing before listening to what Felix has to say.

"Hey Minho hyung, uhh hyunjin and I forgot to take an umbrella before we left, and we walked to the puppy cafe instead of driving there.. It's currently raining, so could you be the best person ever and pick us up?" Felix said, quickening his pace at the end. Minho could hear hyunjin groaning and spewing complaints.

"When do you want me to fetch you?" Minho sighed knowing the only option is to fetch them. He put his phone down on the counter and finished adding additional ingredients to his warm bowl of ramen. He looked outside the kitchen window and saw it was raining calmly.

"Hyunjin-ah when should Minho hyung pick us up?" Minho heard Felix ask Hyunjin. "Uhh in 30 minutes?? If thats okay." Hyunjin answered in relief of not having to get drenched, or walk home in the cold rain.

That gave Minho enough time to eat his meal and finish up watching the episode he was currently on. "Okay, I'll be there soon." He ended the call and walked towards the lounge. He unpaused the kdrama and began to eat.

Minho was nearing the puppy cafe that Hyunjin and Felix were at. He parked on the side of the road, opened the car's door and took out an umbrella to protect him from the cold rain. He could see Felix waiting near by the door scrolling on his phone. He was probably scrolling on tiktok, as he always is.

Minho took out two other umbrellas and closed the car door. He walked towards the cute puppy cafe and as he entered through the door, he heard a little jingle coming from the wind chimes.

The cafe door had a lovely chocolate brown colour, the large accent wall was a matcha green and the rest of the walls were fog grey. There were orange lights lighting up the cafe and matcha green neon signs on the walls. The table counters were a sage green and white marble design. He could see cute little puppies around the cafe.

Felix heard Minho's footsteps and looked up at him. "Oh hey hyung! Isn't this cafe cool!" Felix said smiling brightly as Minho agreed. Felix had recently died his hair blue, out of boredom. His blue hair was strikingly noticeable, he looked amazing in it.

Minho gave one of the umbrellas to Felix and looked around the cafe for hyunjin. The brunette could see the younger blue haired boy look at him in confusion. Minho saw hyunjin playing with puppies and walked closer to him.

"Aren't these puppies adorable!?!" Hyunjin said as Minho handed him the second umbrella. "They are, but I still prefer cats." Minho said as he was walking towards the door. "I hope you enjoy your walk home" Minho said to Felix and Hyunjin, waving before he opened his umbrella and exited the cafe. He entered his warm car and saw the shock on Felix's face.

"Wait wha- Hey hyung!" Felix ran out of the cafe and approached Minho car. He didn't care about the rain at the moment. Felix opened the passenger door and got into the sports car.

"You nearly left me!" Felix complained as he was trying to warm up. The two could see hyunjin walking out of the cafe under the umbrella. Minho drove down the road as hyunjin began running towards the car. Minho slowed down and locked the car. Hyunjin started knocking on the window, begging to be let in. He tried opening the doors but to his bad luck  it was still locked.

"Oi hyung let him in. The poor boy is freezing to death." Felix said as he tried to find the button to unlock the car door. Hyunjins knocking had increased and gotten louder. Felix had finally found the button and pressed it and hyunjin opened the door and fell into the back seats.

"Are you crazy!? Do you know how cold it got!?! I could've froze my pretty fingers off!" Hyunjin went on as Minho laughed and drove back to their apartment. Minho ignored it and changed to another subject.

"Did you two spend the entire day at that cafe? I know dogs are cute and all but seriously, a whole day with dogs?" Minho questioned their choice of place to spend the entire day.

"Oh no, we walked towards the park and the food market to get various foods. Luckily it was quite cold and other people were wearing masks aswell so not many people could recognize us." Felix answered as he held his hands closer towards the heater.

For the rest of the car ride, the three sat in a comfortable silence. As Felix was lightly sleeping, the car came to a stop. Minho parked the car and was about to wake Felix up, but his phone ringing woke him up.

"Ah we're already here." Felix said as he stretched his limbs before continuing. "Ooh Jake is calling" The younger got out of the car and rushed to get into the apartment as he accepted the call.

"I think I want to dye my hair burgundy." Hyunjin said as he got out of the car and stretched. Minho imagined hyunjin with burgundy hair. "Go for it. It would look good." Minho replied as he locked the car, walking towards the elevator for the floor their apartment was situated on.

As Minho entered their apartment door, he could hear felix shouting in english. "OH COME ON! HOW AM I DEAD ALREADY!?!! THE GAME JUST STARTED. FUCK YOU JAKE!" He could hear felix shouting and Jake laughing as they played a game together.

He walked to his room to watch another episode of my demon and take a nap. He closed the door so he wouldn't hear Felix shouting. He put on the episode and laid down into the comfort of his soft, warm bed. After a couple of minutes, in the serene peace and quiet of his room, he felt himself drifting off into a blissful sleep.
