•Chapter 19

11 December

After Jisung got out of the shower, he changed into comfortable clothes and sat on top of his bed covers. His fluffy grey blanket was wrapped around his lower half. He wore his huge black hoodie with his hood over his head, covering his recently dried hair.

The night was cold and silent. The moonlight glowed through the sky, lighting up the dark sky with its beauty. Jisung adjusted the temperature of the room to a warmer one.

He walked towards his desk and whipped out his laptop. He slid his black, comfortable headphones over his head. He worked on writing lyrics and sending off emails before switching off his laptop and settling down in his warm bed. He looked up at his ceiling, his glow in the dark stars shining down on him. The tiny green-ish stars were dim from how old they were. He was planning to get new stars. His mind was at peace, nothing was bothering him at that moment.

He moved onto working on demos and listening to demos Chan sent. It was deep into the night, yet he still couldn't sleep. He decided to tackle some work, to have a longer rest later.

He continued working as the hours passed by. Thoughts of the incident at the airport popped up in his mind. He tried to not dwell on it, but it was always there in the back of his mind. The moment replayed, again and again.

He let out a sigh and stretched his arms and legs. His hands going up to take off his headphones and ruffle his hair. He decided to take a well deserved break from working for hours.

He took his phone that was placed on the desk and unlocked it. All the notifications from various apps and various contacts filled the top part of his phone. He sent a few messages reassuring stays on bubble and read encouraging messages from them. He smiled at the messages from his beloved fans.

He scrolled mindlessly through instagram before remembering Minho had sent him a message.

He read the message from his phone. His screen lit up the dark room, the only source of light came from his bright phone screen, other than his desk lamp. He gently smiled to himself as he thought of a way to reply.
