Jisung shut down his phone and threw it somewhere on his bed, not caring about where it landed. He wrapped the blanket that laid on his bed around him into a burrito while he sniffled.

"Minho's on his way. It's going to be okay Ji." Jisung tried to reassure himself that it would all be okay.

He closed his eyes as he laid down on his bed, slowing down his breathing to try and create a steady rhythm. Every little sound he heard sounded like it was tripled in volume. The surrounding sounds were so soft, yet deafeningly loud.

He subconsciously tuned in to the subtle symphony of sounds around him, his senses intensified to the point where every noise became amplified. The distant hum of cars driving by sounded like a growling beast, the soft rustle of the wind through the trees sounded like a deafening whisper and the faint trickle of water dripping from the kitchen tap echoed like a drumbeat in his mind. In contradictory, amidst the cacophony, an unsettling silence reigned, a heavy stillness that suffocated him. The world was both loud and silent at the same time, a jarring contrast that left him feeling disoriented and uneasy.

A soft knock was heard at the door before it slowly creaked open. Jisung glanced up from gazing at the floor to look at the person who had entered the room. He saw Minho smiling awkwardly by the door, a box and a cup filled with an iced americano, placed in the palm of the hand.

"I arrive with treats as a peace offering." Minho held up the small white box and iced americano making Jisung exhale and chuckle softly.

"So tell me, why is my hannie suddenly a hanrrito?" Minho walked towards the boy, placing down the items he brought on his bedside table. He walked over to Jisung and softly kissed his forehead. Jisung leaned forward, letting himself indulge in the warmth and comfort.

"I.. uh Jun.. Ah-" Jisung's voice broke into a small sob when he tried to speak. Minho looked at him with understanding, eyes filled with love and patience. He sat beside Jisung and gently caressed his head, moving a single strand of his blonde hair out of his eyes.

"Take your time Hannie, I'm not going anywhere. Unless you want me to of course." Minho said softly, smiling warmly at the sad quokka-like boy. Jisung looked up to Minho, his brown boba eyes large and wide, he had a small smile on his face as he listened to Minho's calming voice.

"Take your time Hannie. Breathe. In, and out. There we go." Minho said, guiding Jisung's breathing to help stabilise it.

"You're doing so well Hannie." Minho delicately placed another kiss on his forehead. It was such a tender and soft kiss, it was a small gesture filled with love, but it held so much meaning. It may have been small, but it meant the world to Jisung.

"Uh I think I'm ready." Jisung softly said, barely above a whisper and only audible to Minho. Minho smiled at him with so much love and pride, he slowly nodded and held the quokka-like boy in his arms.

Suddenly Minho stood up from the bed, quickly placing Jisung down on the bed and rushed off to the bathroom. Jisung called out for him in concern, and after a few minutes of no response he got up from his bed with his blanket wrapped around him.

"Min are you okay?" He looked into the bathroom and saw Minho vomiting, his skin looking pale and sickly. He frowned and neared the elder, rubbing circles and random shapes into his back to try and soothe his pain.
